Akshu turned shy and hesitant in the evening - perhaps because it was in his cabin/ workplace?

Poor Abhi after all the progress in the morning hours, the evening was a flop from a pinga-perspective. The only role-play she was interested in playing was pretend doctor doctor with her surgeon pathi 🙄 (MimiLulu is rejoicing, I bet)

The Parth problem: He wants to start a family? Boss, you no ready!

Akshu spoke up again. But Abhi had to get in front of her to yell at his dad. Abhi seems to have some idea that Akshu bears the brunt of HAM’s frustration with him.

Popping bubble wrap can be so peaceful and satisfying- they even have pop-its in toys for the de-stressing effect it has - but Abhi finds it annoying! 😂 Anyway Akshu got to him by annoying him - it was cute until Neel came in (again)

Arohi will have the results of the Birla clan in her capable hands! Shouldn’t DNA results count as personal health information. Arohi should only know if all doctors have taken the test she should not have access to read every ones report, should she? ( ok I know, I know, ITV don’t look for logic! )

Abhi apologizes for missing the dinner reservation and Akshu says it doesn’t matter where they are. All Abhi can think about is going to the hotel suite after this date lol. Akshu tells him these are his scrubs and that is why they are so comfortable. This was such a tender, domestic moment! Shef and Parth are fighting. Shef wants Parth to start working again. Parth says he only will work where he is respected and valued. Akshu comes and hears the fight going on. Parth calls Akshu and asks her to support him — he wants to do what his heart desires, because if he goes back to his old doctor job, he will lose whatever confidence he has left. This is his breaking point. I felt so bad for him. He was able to let out his feelings, because I think he knew that Akshu would back him up. She is making everyone in this family feel so loved and supported one by one.

Parth says he will work with Akshu — he wants to do music and he will use this therapy as a stepping stone. Akshu tries to stay out of it, but she cannot see Parth this emotional. She tells him about the vacancy. HAM demean music, and Akshu as always, politely shuts them down. She talks about the power of music and reminds Mahima about her first interview with her. She will never have her passion insulted, and she will always stand up in the politest, gentlest way!

Harsh proceeds to say that their nose is already cut by Akshu and now they cannot have Parth too. This entire family thrives on reputation and status and has such a twisted view of what success looks like. Also, they cannot handle that it is Akshu who is enabling Parth to start work again when they could not do anything all of these years!! It is their egos!

Abhi comes in and tries to speak up, but Anand says to stay out of the father-son matter. Once Harsh starts insulting Akshu, Abhi explodes. He says that he will stay out of it, but they cannot speak to his wife this way. He calls out Harsh for blaming Akshu for everything. He says that the ultimate decision about this will be left up to Parth anyways…and to stop micromanaging everyone…especially Akshu. He says that he cannot breathe in this house and he runs upstairs. This has been Abhi’s entire reality. Fights for no reason and those he loves being bashed most. And, when it comes to Akshu, he cannot see her being insulted even in the slightest manner.

Abhi is upset with Akshu for talking in between. She explains that Parth asked her to. Abhi says that she already learned what happens when she interferes — the end result will always be the same. Akshu says that he also spoke — Abhi says that this is how it has always been since childhood. He can handle it, but when Akshu talks, HAM takes out their frustrations with Abhi on her and he cannot stand it. Abhi doesn’t think that change is possible in this house, and he won’t have Akshu bearing the brunt. He has accepted the reality in his eyes, but Akshu is changing that without even trying! Today, just her presence gave Parth the strength to speak up!

HAM are bickering about controlling parth — so pathetic. He is an adult! They have decided to celebrate the hospital’s anniversary where they will announce the IVF department opening and the music department closing. They will also do the DNA testing.

Abhi is upset and sitting on the bed, and Akshu knows exactly how to calm him down once again. She starts annoying him with bubble wrap and we get a really cute run around scene and fall scene — but, Neil interrupts once again!

The way in which Abhira always present a united front and never give anyone an opportunity to question them is pure love!! Once again, Abhi was upset with Akshu speaking in between the family's matters, but he had her back and refused to let anyone insult her. It was only when they were in private did his voice his frustration!! And again, Akshu understood where he was coming from/knew exactly how to calm him down!!

Who knows? RS wants to save budget and they might shut down this new hospital 🤣Anyways, my point is that Akshu will be praised for sure + HAM will suffer insults for shutting down the department I think! Or Avani will hire her. Whatever it is, their egos are going to take a hit!

And yeah... Abhi knows that HAM blames Akshu for everything + takes out all their frustrations on her. The next step is for him to more deeply understand how his outbursts unintentionally create difficult situations for her. That realization is also coming soon by the way things have been progressing in terms of understanding between these two! It is going to take him time to work on this, because it is all he has known his entire life and the only way he knows how to be heard and handle conflict! But, already, Akshu is calming him down faster and faster!

The bubble wrapping scene was so domestic and I honestly liked it more than the hospital scene!

And forget logic 😆 Aarohi is about to create a huge DNA kaand and I'm waiting for slap 2.0!!!
