Movie does not have great story but it was mass entertainer like pushpa

no I watched it in our media room with big screen and surround sound etc....like I said that VFX and some scenes were good....but the story was so useless...my goodness.....Compare it to Bahubali...especially part 2...each scene is a gem and keeps you engaged and wanting more......I am waiting for BB 2.....but I just couldn't see what was so special about the bokwaas RRR...na koi story...na kuchhh....bus ek doosre ke peeche bhaago aur maar peet karo...😳

In the Rama entry scene, he is not fighting with 1000 of people, he was fighting with 5-6 and others were terrified seeing how he was hurting them that's why they retreated in end of the scene seeing him standing there, it was to establish that the man won't stop at nothing to get what he wants, the scene is obviously not possible in real life but it was fictional tale of freedom fighters with elements from mythology, Rajamouli's heroes are not normal people, you have to see them through his vision

Its okay not everyone will like it, I am glad you watched it

I have no problem with larger than life Heroes....my problem was that the movie had no story ...it was just chasing each other and beating up people....I did like the first 30-45 mins of the movie...because the movie did move a little and their seemed to be a story...but after that it went down hill....I did like that scene with animals and also where they saved the boy....I also liked where Ram dressed up a Lord Ram and was using bow and arrow...it gave me a mythological feel...I wish there was more story and not just the wild chase..

I liked it. Not on Bahubali level, bit over the top as expected but entertaining and acting was good. Radhe shyam was so boring and dull, we kept on checking how many minutes/hour the movie is left..no wonder it was disaster. Pushpa was not as per the hype but watchable.

Let's see how KGF2 turns out. It might turn out underwhelming as well given the hype 😂

Thing is he has a way of telling an entertaining tale regardless. So the films succeed.

I mean, who else in India can make a movie about a house fly taking revenge and turn it into a blockbuster?😆

Oh I love Makkhi....we watched it with our kids a few years back and they were literally ROFLing ...it was such a cute movie..😆I wish I had watched it in theater......I am just disappointed with the lack of story in RRR....there was none..😆

I connected to it, maybe because I am from that region so we have heard tales of both alluri sita rama raju and komaram bheem, their valour fight against the british and nizam etc. also there is full movie on alluri which was very popular ,so they are deeply embedded in peoples thougths

so to imagine them meeting and that story was very interesting to see. almost like if king ashoka met akbar or lincoln met churchill or bose met bhagat singh

i think if you see them as just characters story is very linear and becomes just action which if you dont enjoy will becomes boring, unlike baahubali where the story and charcters are more interesting even with no background

I liked it

Rajamouli gets masala right ..it’s not abt the violence but the highs and lows in the screenplay, the way he ties everything up etc that makes the film …also his mastery with visuals

The way he constantly had the fire vs water motif running, the way he shows ram getting inspired by bheem and later on bheem getting inspired by ram…the whole friends turn foes and back to friends theme from the 70s films….very very good masala story telling …

they are ott but make sense in the universe he’s building …

The way he establishes is characters, their motives, builds up to a high interval point then builds back up to a high climax moment is pure art imo

And I don’t think rajamouli ever claims his films are realistic …they are fantasy …part of an alternate universe he builds properly ..

My only gripe with the movie was ajay devgan bits were stretched too long …and aliaas part…

IDK how the movie is but I'd say this song feels worth the viewing.
