If it does go the DHTH way, from whatever little I saw today, they will turn Ram into a jackass. Last thing we want to see is Ram calling Priya characterless, looking at that kid with revulsion. That show seemed to be about youngsters and it seemed to be driven by angst and young love. Ye sab nonsense wahan pe chal bhi jata lekin BALH2 was supposed to be a mature love story but maturity flew out the window 🥺

I saw few scenes today out of curiosity to get an idea what might be in for BALH2 but I was disgusted. Read the synopsis and could make out he had been a bitter hearted Casanova. The emotions and the context seemed different. He was a bitter person who became bitter again. But Ram remained optimistic even after his first love betrayed him. If he ever becomes like Karan’s character it will be so forced and meaningless. DHTH seems to belong to Ekta’s typical romantic serial bucket like KTH, KZK, KYPH, YHC where the male lead is initially a narcissist who becomes soft hearted after falling in love and becomes bitter again. This works in her typical shows but BALH2 was different but unfortunately it’s going to belong to that category.
I am still not watching until I hear some progressive updates about the show. I don’t think even the leap can reel me in!! I hope there is a stage when they stop showing the leads taking their life decisions out of guilt or influenced by a third person. Here anyone and everyone including a stranger like Krish has a say in their life decisions!!! I also don’t understand Bri’s stand in Ram-Priya’s relationship! Whatever it is, she can only go to the extend of giving moral support to Ram , but no way can tell/influence him or Priya about handling their future. FGS, they are 30+ mature couple! Why can’t the makers be a little more realistic?
