Why the show tuns toxic before leap?

Why does the episodes before leap have to be toxic. I used to wait for 8:02 for the episode and I stopped watching it form this Monday, as I know it is going for a leap, I’ll wistarit it again only after the leap. Why can’t they finish all this toxicity within one or two epis and start fresh. They have to create a MU so do it in a FF mode and start fresh. Why leave a bad taste in the epis leading to leap?

How come the entire Sood family is filled with criminals? Kapoors may be manipulative but it’s quite normal when there is huge money involved. But how come all the children of MS are so good with a biological father so cruel? Is he really their father? I’ve a doubt.
