I remember reading one of her interviews a long time ago where she said she can come up with a unique concept show but if she ends up watching it alone on her TV what’s the point? Then stop watching it. She will make what sells. I haven’t seen s1 of BALH but I saw Baarish and she has done such an amazing job. The hero though is running a big business is a humble person in real life and works in shadows. On TV Ram Kapoor is this super influential guy who is all over the place and this is the case with both the seasons. S1 ended with Priya landing in jail but it didn show separation. These tough times brought these two together. It wasn’t all sunny days for them after that. The hero lost his property but he was happy leading a modest life with the heroine and they faced a lot of struggles but that kept them together. They did drift apart but that was coz of their own issues and not external factors and that was the beauty of that series. And they get back together also working out their own issues. And this is Ekta’s only and a remake of BALH but a better version. But what do u see on TV? Unnecessary drama 😵

I never watched it but heard that it was a fabulous web series would surely watch it😃

Ekta cannot be justified but you have a point. There are still many people who love such irritating, melodramatic and third class thing. You will see in some day trp of this show will increase as people will love to watch such pathetic tracks. Same thing had happened during yhm. Also due to this long lasting serial like ye rishta go on for so many years

She is a woman who single handedly built this huge empire. She is a smart woman and credit should be given where it’s due. If she is making such crappy content it is only coz she knows it sells. BALH1 had the family element to it plus it had Sakshi and Ram. Two actor with whom the masses connected previously. She took a risk knowing it will pay off and it did. But she did add cliched elements to that show as well coz the audience are suckers for it. Not coz she wants it. So while I happily curse EK to my heart’s content I am not a fool to not see that. If audience loves drama she will give them that. If u look at her OTT platform she has churned out some gems like Test Case, Bose, Haq Se, CLCM and few more. She also has eroticas but she knows the online audience would gravitate towards that. And she has adapted her own TV shows like Bade and PR. I saw PR2 on zee5 and I liked it better than whatever little I saw on the Tv show. It felt like a mature, better version of the show. I was hoping BALH2 will take the same route but alas 😭 can’t cry over spilled milk. It’s done. Will get feed on YouTube and I can keep track of what’s happening via IF. But I can’t watch this anymore. Too much negativity all at the same time

My grandchild in future will be watching YRKKH and they will be wondering after 3 decades the show still doesn't understand Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai🤣

Not justifying EK but she is making stuff that fetches her a handsome ROI. I like finite series for that reason. The story line is set and it doesn’t change coz of TRPs.

I dont know guys... nandini ki language mein kaha jaye toh "ab toh koi chamatkaar hi iss show ko humare interest aur wishes k according divert kar sakta hai." But i really dont see any magic happening here.

How i wish they wipe out the prvious week's episode and start from the point where Priya said I Love You. I want THEM TOGETHER. I want THEM to be shown "truly madly deeply" in love. To be each other's stre grh not weakness. There is a comment on Sony's latest post on insta... usmein koi comment hai that has marked all child welfare, women empowerment and mumbai police for the current track which shows exploitation of women and a child being shown in negative light.

I so hope that all the organizations marked there carry out a literal protest and ask for this track to be snapped off the show... force EK to back off and create a story with different plot line... maybe tab humein humari kahani mil jaye.

Idk i am holding onto every little strand of hope for things to change for good in a show we love so much.

Couldn’t agree more with u. Whenever I get too invested in a show and something like this happens, I remind myself this is not real. So after seeing yesterday’s precap felt disturbed and then I thought ye toh Nakul aur Disha hai. They are perfectly happy in their lives. Sounds weird but helps me detach 😆
