Mr. Kanitkar holds nobody but Mrs. Kanitkar in his heart in the first place but that's something that we know. But even from Apurva's perspective where she is kind of still struggling to figure out if he loves Netra - I am not sure if that counts as emotional infidelity because that would have been before marriage and before he met Apurva thing then.
I agree, he's not giving out mixed signals to her. She is taking them as such and not really telling him that until today's scene!
He's told her that he doesn't have any feelings towards her and then proceeded to hold Appu's hand during reception, stopped Netra during Kelvan and loudly told her that it's their wedding function and he needs to feed his wife, he's even stopped Netra from commenting on Appu in the office earlier and said that his wife was unique. How many times does he need to say "Majhi bayko" before Netra!
Like Harshada said, he needs it say it louder to her that she is nothing more than an assistant to him.
As for Appu's feelings, I agree with Harshada that she trusts that BS wouldn't cheat on her no matter what. Isn't that the premise of her leaving? That she think that she is being an obstacle in their relationship and that they can't be together if she is there?
Holding someone in your heart and going after them are different things in my opinion..
This whole thing is unnecessary here though because we know that this is not even the case here. Sigh.

Yaar I don't get this emotional infidelity/physical infidelity thing. Infidelity is infidelity! PERIOD! Like if you are repeatedly considering someone other than your spouse in a romantic way, then you are cheating on them! Before marriage is before marriage. What matters is after you agree to marry. Some people say I didn't actually do anything with them so it's not infidelity. Thats crap to me.

Netra deliberately wore Apurva's clothes because she wanted to trick Shashank into believing that she is Apurva because even she knows that he would never go close to Netra so she pretended to be Apurva.
This woman FORCIBLY WANTS to take mixed signals to the extent where she is scheming to create them. Sigh. 🤢
Yea if he doesn't yell at Netra after her claims today in front of Appu, then yes now that would be mixed signals...but if he makes it clear to her (which it looks like he will), then maybe not...👍🏼

What I meant to say was - suppose you were in love with X before you married Y. The feelings for X won't die in a day. Like we can consider here if at all Shashank had Netra in his heart before he married Apurva.
That wouldn't be infidelity for me.
