It seems anyone and everyone who could afford the trip just took off for Cannes and, like pao-bhaji stalls on Juhu Beach, put up stalls promoting their films, some of them not even complete or anywhere near it.

Also like, what do they think Cannes is. It's a social event and trade fair. I doubt this KJo, Jitesh Pillai, Jha gang sneer at Hollywood film announcements or market screenings.

Deepika isn't as impressive and well-spoken in domestic situations either. She's not a poor speaker, but she lacks a certain je ne sais quoi that makes an impact.

But this article baffles me. SRK is charismatic and Shabana is very passionate and eloquent. But Smriti? Just because one's name is memory doesn't make one memorable.

Smriti Irani is more eloquent and intellectual than Shabana can ever be.
