I did not like the duet. They were out of sync with Bidipta's lines often starting before Aru's and in any case Aru has more therav and Bidipta's lines run faster. Bad matchup in my opinion, especially for an emotional soft-paced song like this. You can't fly in and out and sing a duet on this song.

I have same opinion. I heard it twice to feel the connection. But couldn't. Arunita sounds perfect as everytime she sings this song. Wherein i can not connect with Bidipta here.
That's why i mentioned i wish it was Sonakshi and Arunita singing this song. (As they had to set up pair for this song)

Yes. I feel Sonakshi or Senjuti should have been her partner. But if it was some other episode and they had to sing a love song, I wanted Rishi - Arunita duet.
It was terrific, a personal favourite despite the Neelanjana error at 1.26-1.27 when she starts a repeat line while Aru moves on 😃

Arunita sings almost the full song of Dil Cheez Kya Hai, and she doesn't compromise even for 1 note in her rendition. It is as if she is singing for a recording, even though this is just a campfire!

I got to see those clips on social media today (Still haven't seen the episode). It is really unnecessary on TV and it is crossing the line. What she does on stage or off stage by her choice is one thing, but creating such situations and making such remarks is a different matter altogether! TCT's script in SS2 was quite bad in that respect, here it seems they have made it worse!
