I am hoping that Arunita sings this Sachin Dev Burman classic during her performance tomorrow in Tripura. The Hindi verison of the song is "Phoolon Ke Rang Se".
Borne Gandhe Chhonde Geetite is written by S.D.'s wife Meera Dev Burman.

S.D. belonged to the Tripura royal family and spent his childhood in that state. Most of his work in the initial years was based on light semi-classical and folk style of Bengal.

So it is an appropriate tribute to him at the appropriate location 😃
