Congratulations!! Please learn all you can regarding PCOS to help educate other women going through it and instead of throwing the pills at them please learn what changes can be made to reverse the condition. Congratulations once again!

I love your positive attitude, but shows like these should not be promoting such toxic behavior from ppl like Baa who are elders and can have such positive or negative impact on the entire family - in this case family has understood how toxic baa is and left her to her own.

Personally, I am at such a stage in life - I could care less for people like Baa and we all meet such ppl at various stages, yes, we'll go out of our way to make relations better, but after a point - if there is no reciprocal behavior, it's bye bye for me - Kaam se kaam. we all have such family members, I choose to be happy - when they need us (which they always do) they come running right back at us for help/advice, I will still be there but on my terms and not bend backward like how they show Anupmaa to be.

Truthfully, all the women in my extended family are like Chandi maas (more like Devika/mukku/dolly - loving, caring, but at the same time bindaas, don't give two hoots about what others think) so I cannot relate with Anupama or even for that matter Kinjal.

Until I watched Anupamaa, I lived in my own bubble, didn't even know people like her existed in 2022!

you're right. relationships are a 2 way street and that includes family. "but she's your mother" just doesnt cut it when she is abusive in every which way possible.

it takes years to undo emotional trauma.

Baa can only continue b/c she is ageable and it's excused.
