What I understood from the flashback is that the man (didn't catch who he was) looked after Shubh and Navya's after their parents died and loved them very much. He took a bullet that was meant for Shubh (from an enemy of Shubh) and as his dying wish asked Shubh to promise he would marry his daughter (Naina) and take care of her for the rest of his life.
After the wedding , Shubh and Naina are travelling somewhere and Naina asks Shubh whether he will keep his promise to her father but, before he can answer, a truck crashes into their car (Shubh's enemy was driving it). Now Naina cannot get past the point where they crashed and constantly wants to know whether Shubh will keep his promise to her father.

No wonder Shubh is like that, his parents died, and just when they are trying to move on their caretaker died as well, I wonder who this enemy is?🤔

Earlier back in this forum I made a post about what could be behind the red door that Shubh was hiding(this was before we got to know what was actually behind the door) and a portal was my most ridiculous and random guess on that list🤣. It's a few pages back if you want to look😂

Now to think of it this is a sticky situation, Shubh has to keep his promise to that girl's father,besides they are already married🤔...The only way I can see Shubh and Shagun being together is if Naina comes to her senses and realizes that Shubh has feelings for Shagun and she decides to leave Shubh to have happiness with Shagun (since this is itv we may have to go through a few hundred episodes of misunderstandings, one sided love, leaving the house, getting trapped in the middle of nowhere, maybe another scene of being trapped in the jungle, Naina trying to win over Shubh by any means even by teaming up with the enemy...then maybe Naina would leave when she sees Shubh only loves Shagun😂😂)

this is the way I think too🤗But if she was negative role after she get her sense she will separate shubh and shagun or she will try to kill shubh then shagun will save him something like that😊I hope😲

New promo came shagun and naina in jungle ...shubh uncle trying to kill both in that naina slip down shagun trying to help do no what will happen ..now all will blame shagun
