Absolutely, look at Never Have I ever, about Indian migrants, they may not have got everything right but look at the diversity.

Or for that matter Bridgerton with an Indian origin heroine.

Both these are Netflix shows and we have this where Indians are whitewashed and the clothes are so European.

Atleast SOTY was about glamour songs and time pass.

This looks just dull and boring.

I agree that we need good feel good entertainers, but this is just dull and boring.

I personally loved it 🙈 It’s something different & fresh and the teaser as a whole with the whole funky setting is so cute 😍 Suhana actually impressed me the most so far, she looks so natural. Loved Dots screen presence too. And that song brings it all together so beautifully 😻

P.S - I know nothing about Archies, never read the comics or anything. So i’ve got nothing to compare it to. Maybe that’s why I liked it so much, who knows. 🙈😅

When I have access to authentic American and Europe shows,why would I want to watch this version that looks boring and just so dull

Compare this to the 3 minute vide that Prime launched of the Indian content this year

We have a clear winner and that is not Netflix

Indian actresses overseas flaunt their dark skin tone but in india they are not appreciated 😑 Kitna whitewash karte hai ..I think bipasha was the last dusky beauty ...

Waise the movie industry has come a long way in launching star kids...from risky big budget movies with exclusive focus on them to glamourous star kid -complimentary outsider combo movies ( soty types) to this..ultra urban OTT with minimized risk of flopping. New and innovative ways to pump mediocrity into the system. 🥳

I will wait for the reviews before deciding whether to watch this or not

I hope for some good acting at least
