KKIs failed because both the leads did not have an ounce of charm of Gungun n babin in the OG ..

Even the guy who played Potka was a scene stealer .. every character in Khorkuto was a cutie .. I really felt bad when Gungun dad died …. He had made such a sweet place in my heart ..

KKIS is artificial.. very very wierd .. abd the leads acting quite like drama ..


If we compare it with ghum .. ghum in the initial days was much better than KD .. b Virat , Sai and patralekha looking very sharp and attractive..

even though they had not got to the skin of characters .. virat had from the start .. Sai n pakhi we’re visually appealing .. and the chemistry between Sai n virat was awesome.. still it is very good .

Well they definitely don't understand Bengali. They changed essence of many dialogues earlier with their bad translation. There was a dialogue in KD by RK (At the post b'day fight in the corridor,) that she was telling "Tomar Ronor upor khub jor hoyeche." Here they changed to "Tumne Virat ko kabu mein karlia". So the answer what Sai did came differently than Iman. They don't understand at all the essence and when they copy, it comes out as toxic👎🏼instead of in a fun way

Yes KD was different.. no doubt .. a good romantic novel .. thick one .. which we used to buy from old book shops

See the relationship between RK and Rono is quite acceptable in Bengali culture .. we have seen it in Umpteen Ray movies ..(Nashte ne’er ) .. and also written in so many novels

but what it is shown between pakhi n virat not acceptable in most North Indian families

The song is very beautiful and meaning tbh. It talks about the painful side of the relationship more. And more from Iman's POV. I'll translate it if I get time because the meanings are heavy loaded and finding similiar English words may be tough
