In Psychology there is a concept of attribution error and actor-observer bias. That is for our own mistakes, we blame external factors but others perceived mistakes we blame their personalities.

Compound with Vanraj's narcist personality he can only see the blame in others but never in his own behavior. He never believes he did anything wrong, but the factors in his life lead to his monstrous actions.

Honestly his pendulum behaviour of kabhi achha kabhi bura drives the story and gives Anupama and Anuj most shining moments, so not complaining at all.

right????? the audacity also to act like there aren't countless people who divorce, remarry, and their kids have step-parents? i loved anuj's response though and how he isn't going to try to replace vanraj but if vanraj does anything he'll do it because he can and the kids already love him!

he's so so dumb. anupamaa and samar were already done and dusted before Bae was ever in the picture.

It's pretty shameful that Samar suggested calling Anuj "Dad" when you think about it. If that doesn't hit him hard in the chest, nothing ever will.

Imagine your own child hates you that much they would rather call another man that they have known for 2 mins Dad over you??

I do think he has some redeeming qualities when it comes to him being a father, but obviously a long ways to go as a person.

interesting how men look to impress other men more than their wives, parents, kids, etc. as long as anuj thinks that he is competition and can stand toe to toe with him, he doesnt really care about anyone else. it's all about anuj.

Exactly the audacity of that man to question other's intention when his has always been to just hurt and snatch.

I loved the threat at the end. Their power play is one of the interesting things amongst the OTT drama here.

To think of it he's never been a good dad to summer at least. So expecting something in return from summer more than normal courtesy is rich of him. The way he used summer-nandini fight to satisfy his ego was beyond any good dad qualities.

okay true, he has not made the best decisions by samar, but if it came down to it i do think he would give his life for those kids and i do think he loves them
