This is ITV. They will not show explicit scenes and it is implied. I don’t think Disha will be comfortable doing explicit scenes since she is newly married and this is aired on TV. She wouldn’t want her family to feel embarrassed coz of this. There are very few shows that have explicit scenes warna in most it’s just a curtain drop and the focus is on candle or any other object. I know in s1 there was a liplock and all. But this is what it is in s2. As for the article it’s just stating what fans are discussing. Ram is not dumb enough to not realise how a woman gets pregnant and if he is thinking she is pregnant they have consummated.

Yeah that’s weird but given Priya is it surprising? Since it happened so suddenly she felt awkward coz she never expected to take the first step herself but she did and she didn want Ram to bring it up again and tease her. For her it was like it’s done and I don’t want to dwell on it coz she wasn’t willing to process her own emotions and admit she feels passion and love for a man. So she convinces herself saying Ram is her husband and this is normal coz physical intimacy between married couples is a norm in most of the scenarios and not driven by love. But Ram being romantic towards her makes her feel nervous coz he expects her to reciprocate and she isn’t sure how to respond to that. And even on the other night when Ram turns off the light he asks her if she has any objections to that or to anything else - I guess he meant will she have any objections for getting intimate with him and she says no. They wouldn’t show them doing the deed but it is implied they did even though all audience saw was them cuddling with their foreheads touching. Yes, Priya won't shed her inhibitions so easily, but the direction has been so bad lately that her insecurities translate into cold-shouldered-ness.
They don't invest time in scenes which require them and on the other hand, give so much screen space to characters who don't need it 🤔

Exactly! They have yaar… kar liya hai inhone… and to be honest I kinda like it this way(not the subtle love making… no nope nada niente! On that I do take the stand k at least thode sexual toh hota…) why I say that is because usually it is shown in other shows k pehle confession then consummation…. But why? The world we live in is now free of such shackles. While people engage even in mindless, emotionless one night stands and couple usually break off the physical barrier even before marriage(as also we were told Shivi and akki did, also sara and her ex in the show), then I guess it’s only sensible to show a couple married and staying together… and not just any couple— a very attractive man and a very beautiful woman… consummating because they felt physically attracted to each other. True they also had admitted in their hearts loving each other by then. But in the show the couple didn’t know at that time if the other one loved them or not… so they just got close due to physical attraction and that’s fair enough… also very modern and very open-minded— much like the novels we get today. A book series called “Crossfire” had the hero confessing his love in third or fourth book out of five books, and, by that time they have had already had sex several times. In another book, “Driven”, the hero confesses of his love in the last book. In another series “Hudson”, the hero admits his love in the third book out of four, after several seasons of love making, make out and even a nasty breakup. So that’s basically normal for couples… to have sex before confessing love and I kinda appreciate the mediocre team of writers for this show to at least have shown this open-minded concept of emotional physicality before love confessionOriginally posted by: BeyondHorizon

I started watching the show only recently and I saw a few episodes in the start and few in between and now I am watching the on air ones. When I first saw the initial episodes they were drafted well but now I understand what the viewers mean when they say the show is not sequenced logically. Priya once tells to herself that if Ram were awake she would express her feelings but when Ram is confessing he loves her loud and clear, she changes the topic. And the issue with VK's death - Ram got a call to identify the body in the morgue room and in another scene he is called to accident spot. What shoddy writing is this? And what happened to Mythri? And where is Brinda? Ram's friend circle is so amazing and while the main focus needs to be on RaYa, they should utilize the other characters too to push RaYa's story forward. I loved Adi and Brinda, especially Brinda. She is such a lovely friend. But she is not to be seen these days. And y is Akshay still staying with the Kapoors? Even after the MU was sorted? He seemed to have a lot of self respect. What happened to that? And in the first episode, Sara tells Priya that she needs to take care of Chintu and I can assume she was talking about her son Ishaan. But if Chintu aka Ishaan was staying in Mumbai at the start of the story, how come he has been in Delhi all this while? This is so confusing.
