Don't think he said it in terms of renumeration, He was talking about working in Telugu industry because he gets more love there

I really don't like this guy but I don't see good intentions behind taking a few words and making negative headlines

Feels like he meant it in terms of the love and affection he receives down South can't be replicated in BW. He's been in the industry for long and has established a stronghold in Telugu movies. It'd be a major setback to his stardom if he bombs in BW. Also, I've read many South actors/directors dislike the work culture in BW.

Either way, this is poorly quoted. The word "afford" Sticks out as a sore thumb. Poor choice of words on his part.

Don't think he said it in terms of remuneration. It's about the audience love and reception that he gets in return for his time and efforts. He said he didn't want to go to Bollywood and work there but would rather do a film in south which is watched by all. Which is anyway happening now. For actors mainly leading men if they have to leave their base and work in some other place for an indefinite period the returns have to be huge.

Way back Sridevi and Jayaprada shifted base to Mumbai in search of bigger platform and audiences but now things have changed and anybody can make a movie anywhere in the country and if it is good people will watch it regardless of the language it is made in. The actors thus can expand their market.

One thing all of the actors and actresses who worked in Hindi and in South say about is the disorgonised and chaotic ways of working in Hindi film industry. All of them say that South is more organised and they are more punctual. Hindi film makers should change their ways of functioning.

You are no Yash or Allu who have had monster pan India hits like KGF or Baahubali. You are just jealous of their success among Hindi audience. You are left far behind. Bye bye 👋

Looks misquoted or lost in translation..on top of this they have put "can't afford me" in quotes..is there any written or video interview where he said these exact words?

Why do people dislike him? He seems fine and whatever I've seen n read of him, he seems humble. Haven't seen any movies though

Rajamouli's next is with him so he would get the success with Hindi audience with that film. And Prabhas was in Bahubali, not Allu.

Bhagwan Janey what is he trying to say here.

I somehow feel he isn’t taunting Bollywood, but the other successful south heroes in Bollywood.
