That's odd. I was told on the trailer thread that putting Ranveer front and center of the film and not having any memorable female characters in a film about them is going to guarantee a blockbuster opening. Also looking forward to seeing how this is able to reach out and educate men in rural areas, when it isn't even being screened outside big cities. 😆

Jayeshbhai Jordaar has taken a poor start which has become the story week in week out as this delayed pre pandemic content makes its way to the cinemas when the audience has little appetite for it. The opening of Jayeshbhai Jordaar is pretty much on the lines of Runway and Jersey so it becomes about that Saturday growth.

The problem here is that there will be Saturday growth but its a low starting point and can the sort of growth come that came before the pandemic and can the film consolidate that growth on Sunday. Runway and Jersey failed to do this despite Saturday going up well and it remains to be seen how Jayeshbhai Jordaar goes.

I share the same sentiment as the posters above. I was barely able to finish the bakwaas trailer of this film, and was rather shocked that people on this forum were liking it so much....

I think most of us were impressed by Ranveer and his versatility. But one of the most common reactions I remember about the trailer is how it didn’t feel like a big film and it seemed more like an indie Ayushman Khuruna movie.

After about a week it was obvious the movie wasn’t going to work when the buzz around the trailer completely died down and the songs didn’t do anything for it.

My personal opinion, it will crash worse than Jersey and Highway 34 by Monday because it looks like the reviews are pretty poor too. The other two at least got good reviews.

This forum is completely filled with Ranveer Singh's PR. Even I was shocked reading all the orgasmic praising the trailer got on this forum.

I liked the trailer, thought this might be a feel good movie

😂what the hell happened here ….it seems like RS & wifey on roll for disasters…chapaak, 83, gehraiyan and now this

It makes sense now why wifey didn’t bother to post anything about hubby outing as JBJ🤣 better stick with Cannes parade , and constant post on LV
