You won't believe it but I haven't watched this movie yet!!!
The soundtrack is my favourite -- I think the songs are so soulful and romantic!!!!
It's lyrically good songs, but not one of my very favs, infact Udit sounded like Pankaj udas in this album specially in aye mere humsafar
Mansoor had actually made a short film called Umberto for which he had taken Anand-Milind as music directors... basically their auditions for QSQT...if I remember correctly, thats where this song, Return of the Alamo was first used...Poornima was the female singer for this movie, idk if Udit was on board or no.
The same song was later was used in QSQT as Akele Hai Toh Kya Gham Hai!
Don't ask me how I know, I had a lot of free time and had chatted with AM fans years ago 😆

Did Sonu ever sound like Rafi sahab to you then ?
There is a difference, Sonu deliberately started as voice of rafi, while Udit for some reasons sounded like Pankaj udas in his initial days, the song Na kajre ke dhaar na motiyon ke haar was made for Udit, but to some reasons udit was not available then music director viju shah called pankaj udas to sing it as his voice was very similar to udit in those days,
Love Aamir Juhi pairing and they were so beautiful in this movie ❤️
Aamir and Juhi looked so good together.
I prefer this 😂
