I don't like to have any jewelry on my body unless I am outside the home, wearing only earrings. Once in a while, I'll wear the ring if it matches my dress.

The only jewelry I love is 'analog watches.'

I don't wear it for other people or to show that I'm married. I like jewellery and dressing up in general 😆

I don't even like to wear it. My mom shouts at me so much and I just ignore her. My mil has stopped bothering me completely! smiley37

You sound like me! I wear only my wristwatch and earrings..that too really small ones 😄. I did the wedding ring, mangalsutra, sindoor, bindi and a lot more jhing bang for a while before establishing that it was not me. Hubby too hates wearing any kind of jewelers, he doesn’t like to wear even a watch. So in this respect we’re a match made in heaven for each other 😂

Touch wood I've never been in that situation but it's win-win for everyone, I get to be vain and my family/hubby know what to gift on special occasions 🤣

One doesn't mellow down just because one is in love. Love never changes who we are as a person.

The only thing that changes is your equation with your partner. That's it! This is the reason I have been having tons of trouble to accept both Priya and Ram, especially Priya in the past month or two.

Exactly, one should not change who or what we are because we are married. My motto is I am as I am don’t t try to change me . I do wear very thin buchiya other than that I were no jewelry and have still retained my maiden name.
That’s what bothers me the most how the characteristics that endeared Priya and Ram to me have been compromised on as they realize their love. Love is a beautiful feeling but it should not alter who or what your essence as a person is.

I understand you. And I understand why it was difficult for you. But these are not the changes that break the personality. This is what expands the personality or what brings it back to itself. Look, Priya is a coconut, she is tough and level-headed, but she is the same girl who draws beautifully, loves to dance and finds the most accurate words for everything. Gentle nature, whose smile carries a lot of light. Ram reminded her that she was like that too. And she reminded him that he does not have to nod and agree with everyone.
