Call it my wishful thinking but i think they quickly scraped some scenes that may have hinted towards fake or surrogacy...

Aaj ka kaam kal pe daal diya types.

Pakhi BK convo was weird too... Aisa laga hi nahi ki itni ajeeb se bhavishyavani hui and BK is cool as cucumber.

Isliye vo last wala scene looked mishmash.

Sai ke solo shots looked like a quick addition to me. Kuch jyada hi pass the. Same for NB... His same expression was shown twice. As in same clip.

Because they had started collecting episode bank.. par ye wala saree to kal ka hi hai.

Let's hope they'll use the sunday to do something good 🤞🏻🤞🏻

BTW Aish, Mitali aur Tanvi ka haldi kunku wala look dikh Gaya. Ayesha ka casual hai. Probably diff scenes again.

Yes... Purely Maharashtrian.

Any festival or occasion that deals with suhaag or Devi can have a haldi kunku.

Basically you call all married ladies, relatives and neighbours to your home and depending upon the season in which it is conducted, the snacks and customs differ.

If it's on Makar sankranti... It has til (sesame) laddoo and some simple snacks.. also, there is a custom called 'vaan dene'... Which is like a small gift.. for the first 5 years of married life, it has to be anything from 16 singar items. Supposed to be done every year and after 5 years it can be anything as per your budget.

If it's in chaitragauri (like the one BK is planning) then it's chana dal ka ek recipe and aam panna.. chaitra is first month of Hindu new year. Falls in summer so the snacks are season related.

If it's in Mahalaxmi (4 days after ganesh chaturthi.. goes on for 3 days)... It's the Prasad which is made for Mahalaxmi Gauri as snacks. This Prasad is especially revered and cannot be refused.

BK cannot do it as she is a widow.

Another general custom Marathi households follow is whenever you are leaving someone's house... Even if it's a casual meet-up, the lady of the house anoints you with haldi kunku as a gesture and you are supposed to reciprocate.

For unmarried girls it's only kunku/kumkum. No haldi.

It’s common among South Indians and Maharashtrians a married lady calls 7 , 9 , 11 odd no of ladies .. makes food for them .. they bless her .. and she puts haldi kum kum in their forehead they do the same to her .. and she gives them small gifts ..

InI maharastrian they also put scent in hand ., thus is done during navratri days

Thank you.❤️ Being a Malayali, Ghum has been a crash course for me in Maharastriyan culture as well. They covered so many festivals and rasams in the entire show

That is true... 😊

Par thode over dramatized hai and some they have skipped completely. Which are like purely Marathi.

Anyway, this too looks odd.

BK says they are doing it for the first time. Matlab considering inki shaadi ko 5 saal hue... 2 bhi hue to bhi...

BK didn't even consider Sai as bahu until recently. But Pakhi aur Karishma ke liye bhi nahi kiye...

Aisa nahi hota hai. It is supposed to be done for every bahu. Pakhi ke liye nahi par Karishma ke liye karna chahiye.

Or BK was only concerned with V ki wife as the older and asli bahu and thats why she waited for Sai to accept the relationship ??? 🤔🤔

Ajab gajab hai 🤣

That attar and gulabjal is part of every haldi kumkum. For young girls that's the most fav part to do

There are specific design of utensils for this... Given by mom to daughter in marriage. Part of the stuff she brings from home.

In makar sankranti you also give Aster flowers... On others it can be gajra
