I think so too! If pakhi fakes illness during that haldi kimkum festival or her results celebrations (award ceremony) then it is locked that it is going KD way.

Hello everyone, this isy first post, although I'm silent reader, this Surrogacy news has totally take away my interest from the show!
Although 2 cents regarding this track, I think if this track is coming then It'll be most probably a Patralekha whitewash track.
What I think is, Sairat will try for kid, Sai can't conceive so doc will ask them to go for Surrogacy, Sai will come up with an idea to ask Pakhi to give birth to their baby, Virat will oppose but eventually give in! Then they'll try to manao Pakhi, she'll refuse first but then will give in, in the name of parivar ki izzat, Samrat will be impressed that she's doing so much for Sairat! The surrogacy will start, although I think they won't show any devar bhabhi moment, Virat will stay pro Sai throughout the track fearing the backlash, later Pakhi will get attached to the baby on her womb & refuse to give it to Sai, she'll go in labour, doc will ask Sairat to chose b/w Pakhi & child, Sai will chose Pakhi, Pakhi will have heart Change, baby & Pakhi both will survive, Pakhi will handover the baby to Sai & Sakhi reunion, then Patralekha & Samrat will give another chance to their relation, but twist in the tale, now Pakhi will not able to conceive, so she'll be jealous of Sairat's happy life & will get again attached to Sairat's baby, back to KD copy paste!!!
