Frankly I was disappointed with the show today.
Some singers came out as very immature and with need for training.
The Captain-Contestant duos sounded good - but that is neither here nor there.
Anyway, I may have had an off day :)
I enjoyed Sayisha-Pratyush duet. Chaitanya and Mani's performances with their captains were good. Liked Faiz's performance too. Rest OK.

Last night's episode - I watched the show for the first time. For me all contestants new 😆 as I've not been following any junior reality singing shows for few years.
Some contestants good, some average.
In terms of comparison with II12 as both shows from same makers, I felt SS2 slightly better than II12. Could be it's junior's show. 😆
Still fav. spot is there, well in my opinion.
What's this about one contestant wants Salman's seat, other offended with HR. After a while, it's going to be boring just like in II12 - mama, Kambles etc.
So in this show it's - duniya hiladi or something (instead of mausam badal diya)
Judges:
Alka is the most mature judge out of 3 when it comes to comments etc. Liked the way she told Faiz not to take praises on his hair etc to go to his head but to concentrate on singing and aim to be better and better each week. (Neha - learn something from Alkaji)
Javed - he is ok. in my opinion better than 2 judges in II12
HR - same "old ooops young" HR 😆 stop continuing this Arunita Pawan drama from II12.
Suggestion to captains Salman and Danish - please no alaaps in every songs by the kids in your team. Not good for them at this age screaming and spoil their vocals.
Sayli - I found she is over excited. Tone down please
I also feel they need to stop showing or promoting disrespectful behavior in this show. The Soyab-Salman and Rituraj-HR drama needs to stop. I don’t mind the Rohan antics.
I think I have become immune to the drama of HR poking his nose into what PD and Aru are doing! He seems to love pulling their legs or he thinks his videos on YouTube doing that are getting more popular and so he does it. I doubt Sony needs that for TRP anymore. It’s done and dusted!
I am looking forward to Sayisha performance tonight . Need to hear her solo a few more times. I like her focus. I like Harshita too so far. I too have no favorites as yet but some are definitely weaker than others.
And I agree, a request to Salman and especially Danish to stop the unnecessary aalaps in the songs.
Loved Alkaji’s advice to Faiz and Pranjal’s advice to everyone.
Singling wise i liked Sayantani-Rohan, pranjal and Faiz.
I had liked Chaitanya in the audition but somehow the Danish-Chaitanya duet , I didn’t care for!

Pranjal is the one who has some ashram connection. He is the one who sings with the ektara or some form of musical instrument that I am not familiar with. He sang the SD Burman song.
I am amazed that all these youngsters are mostly singing really old songs!
