Baji was already getting ready to give kashi her rights but he was not getting what she want so surya helped , he did went to get a nose ring designed for kashi but he got busy with bihu's problem, so now he actually wanted to be a husband to kashi as he started enjoying his married life & he genuinely looks happy & content.

I agree with you now.. Baji ko Kashi se hai pyaar lekin iss Radhabai ka kya kare? Uska character kab change hoga.. Oof

Plus the new episode is not uploaded yet so mujhe toh kuch pata nahi hai ki ab kya hoga..

But I think Kashi did right by making Chimaji go to the war coz in the previous epi Chimaji was willing to prove himself to be worthy for something..

And if the makers won't change anything from the history then Chimaji will win from the Sindhis and capture Belapur Fort.. 😊

I read chimnaji is unsung warrior he won vasai war against Portuguese & was with baji in his last war against nasirjung but never knew he won against siddhis 2 ,thank u 4 d info.

Mastani stayed in Kothrud awaas from 1731 - 1735, she shifted in mastani mahal in 1735.

Chimaji basically made a surprise attack on them at Rewas in 1736, killing at least 1500 which includes Siddhis leader as well.

And then the Siddhis had to sign a peace treaty with the Peshwa..

But wait this all happened in 1736 but Baji hasn't even reveal anything about Mastani yet to Kashi..

Aacha ek cheez puchni thi as u have knowledge of history ,I never got this answer in Bundelkhand track from where does mastani came in , I mean Bajirao went to help them & he was not really interested in marriage proposal , from where does mastani came in.

Chhatrasal was a king he knew the idea of strengthening relations with kingdoms through marriages so he most probably felt better to hand Mastani to Baji as a form of starting a new relation.

Theories:

Many still find it weird to understand why Baji excepted Mastani as wife and not like sister or didn't completely reject proposal. So here are some of the theories:

1. Some historians say that Baji knew the importance of gaining Chhatrasal's trust plus the benefits from his kingdom. By rejecting it, he would have just made a loss since Baji was fighting against Mughals and needed a large amount of wealth for his expeditions and army.

2. Another theory is that by rejecting Chhatrasal's proposal Baji didn't want to create a new enemy for his kingdom. Remember in old times, Kings would often get upset when they get rejection for marriage proposals. So this might be one reason.

3. Both Chhatrasal and Baji were hindus and had a common enemy the Mughals so by winning Chattrasal's trust, Baji would have gain a more stronger alliance in his team to fight with the Mughals and capture Delhi which was his aim.

Though how did the marriage between Bajirao and Mastani happened or what rituals took place are still considered a mystery. There are speculations that Mastani in fact married his sword and conducted all the marriage rituals with Peshwa's sword. Thats why most of the historians doubt if a proper marriage actually happened between Baji and Mastani unlike the marriage of Kashi and Baji which was conducted grandly.

As a matter of fact, the current head of Chaskaman Wada ,where Kashi had lived, had said that even though Balaji Vishwanath was a Peshwa, his family was only able to raise 2500 rupees at the time of marriage while Kashi's family at least spend 25000 rupees from their side.

So there is a complete account of Kashi and Baji's marriage, but I hardly believe that a proper ritual was done in Mastani's case.

But I personally feel Chhatrasal made a big mistake by giving Mastani to Baji. I mean Mastani had to face many consequences because of her relation with Bajirao and the relation also made the Brahmins boycott Peshwa family.

So the marriage had a lot of cons and was only beneficial for the kingdoms respectively but not the parties involve especially Baji, Kashi and Mastani's life. So ek hi baar mein teeno ki life barbaad ho gayi.. 😔
