April 4th: Hisaab Kitaab

I thought there would be more to this story than just the fight between the mother and the sons but the last two weeks have cemented the fact that this is going to remain the crux.....not much scope for overall character development beyond that 😆.

So the cycle seems to be that the sons will keep doing breathtakingly heinous things over and over while the mother finds ways to retort back to them either through words or actions. But everything basically will only be informed by what the sons do ....everything will just be a reaction to what they say or do to Swaran - interspersed with FBs of Bedi Saab or Swaran talking to his portrait about how strong she is😆. 

Ok theek hai....good to know what we are actually signing up for😆. The acting from Sangita is lovely no doubt and the execution of many of the scenes is still nice like the wheelchair returning scene today was executed very effectively.....but I do feel the story has more scope to it beyond just repeating this same vicious cycle daily. 

No idea where Ajeet's character is going either.....lol all he does every alternate epi is vow to uphold his promise to Bedi Saab or look like he's ready to give up and fall back again😆.....it feels like a pointless feedback loop right now because the makers are so over-fixated on giving us endless monologues from Vikram and gang about the same shit daily. 

The story would be more effective if there was some gap between these daily assaults from the sons.....it's fine if this is the central premise but we don't need it reinforced non stop with endless scenes of just these losers.

This unfortunately is the trademark of the makers. Wash rinse repeat mode. They are notorious for this. Thankfully here we have great senior actors, the actors essaying the roles of the sons being pathetic though. Again typical of the sargun ravi stable. The friend is a good actress. Ajeet seems ok as of now as an actor of course. And what is pathetic to watch (the sons + MIL) will be what will get a lion's share of screen space. Again typical. So each episode there will be a new ploy by the sons which will of course fail.

Saying all this from experience and great suffering.

Having said that Sangita and ronit as bedi saab lifted it all up several notches! 

how many holidays these useless sons have because when they were needed they could not spare the time now it looks like they are going to stay for ever because story is going around them ?
