Alia ko Alia rehne do, koi aur naam na do.
She is good in her own way and getting accolades as Alia. Why do this disservice to her by comparing her performance with any yesteryear actress?
Wo Meryl Streep nahi hai..nor Meenakumari, Nargis or Seema Biswas..She is good enough for herself.
Why is everyone trying to turn audience bouquets coming her way into brickbats?
Wahi toh. She could never be that even the people close to her know that hence they call her Nargis, Meryl, Meena

They are not realizing how much pressure they are putting on Alia.
Can we stop portraying her as the innocent actress who gets compared to legendary actresses by mistake. She herself wants this. Otherwise why hasn’t any other actress been called Meryl Streep and Nargis? It’s literally a PR thing. I wouldn’t be surprised if Suhana Kapoor ends up being compared to a legend as well.
Thankfully no one will believe it. These brats think they can brainwash the public but we too smart for that
