India VS West Indies  women's World Cup Match 

India won the toss and elected to bat as the team looks to get back to winning ways after a demoralizing 62-run defeat to New Zealand. 

 India won the toss and elected to bat first, before Yastika Bhatia produced a brisk 31 to help the team get off to a flier. She departed after a 21-ball 31, which was followed by the exit of Mithali Raj (5) and Deepti Sharma (15), leaving India tottering at 78/3. Smriti and Harmanpreet then put up a 50-stand to steer the team past the 100-run mark. India will be hoping to get their campaign back on track. The Seddon Park on Thursday witnessed an insipid batting display from the Indians that comprised 162 dot balls, equivalent to 27 overs. Smriti Mandhana, Mithali Raj, Yastika Bhatia and Deepti Sharma never picked up the pace in the chase, resulting in the team enduring a 62-run defeat to a formidable New Zealand unit. Harmanpreet Kaur notched up a 62-ball 71 when it was all but over for the blues. India will be hopeful to add intent to their batting and avoid back-to-back defeats in the tournament. They are currently placed fifth on the points table
