Deepika said it herself. She was made to become a surgeon, no matter how many struggles and sacrifices she had to make.
She didn't stop herself from realizing her dream.
Under PC's guidance, she joined FMS hospital to live her dream which was broken by a false accusation.
Not only did Deepika become a mentor of junior doctors but she pushed Mr Sheriar, the CEO of FMS hospital, with Abhay's help to open and run Emergency Department after a terrible tragedy.
Her whole life was set up when it all got shaken up by Vikrant, coming back into her life again, after 10 years.
"Har patient ek insaan hota hai, agar hum unki story nahin samajh sakte aur usse relate nahin kar sakte toh sirf medicine ka koi fayda nahin hota hai."
Young, charming and confident, Abhay confronted Deepika on the first meeting itself. He had his own ideas which appeared to be wrong. Abhay started evolving for the better and he eventually developed strong feelings for Deepika.
He soon realized that it was one-sided but he never left her side.
Despite having been brought up by his single mom, Ahay did not let his complicated family situation affect his professional life.
Abhay is the kind of support that any patient or colleague would love to have. His over caring nature is really appreciated by his mom, Deepika, Vikrant, Sia.....actually the whole hospital staff.
"Apne sapno ko tod do, yeh nahin keh raha hun mein, lekin sapne aur apni asli zindagi mein bhi santulan banana padega."
Vikrant is a highly respected surgeon. Professionally, he gets all the accolades he deserves. His life is messed up on a personal level. Vikrant thinks he can own a woman and can decide for her and her happiness. Deepika left him 10 years back because he didn't respect her dream of becoming a surgeon and disrespected her.
To satisfy his ego and for his family, he married Aditi whom he doesn't love or respect. His life takes a major turn when he sees Deepika at FMS after 10 years. He thinks he can bring Deepika into his life again.
It happened for some time and the course of events got even worst. Aditi tragically died in an accident and Vikrant lost himself completely. His god-complex fully disappeared when he took away a life of a patient by mistake.
He leaves Deepika and the medical field forever to try to find himself and be a good human.
"Khubsoorti dekhne wale ke nazar mein hoti hai"
Piroz is chilled out and fun.
He is always around to support his friends. Piroz never fails to bring joy and hope.
He is Sia and Abhay's loyal and caring friend.
He also inspires the audience to become a good doctor and takes Dr Saxena as his exemplary.
"Aurton ko ek doosre ko neecha dikhane ke bajaaye ek doosre ko support karna chahiye"
Sia is "papa ki pari" according to Wasim.
She appears to be a strong and determined doctor who wants to become a plastic surgeon at any cost. It is her dream. Sia has been brought up by his father so he is the only support that she has along with Abhay and Piroz.
Sia got heartbroken when Abhay decided to leave, sometime after they were engaged. This event shook her up and she started losing herself. Wasim did not miss a chance to manipulate her despite the fact she loved him.
On a personal level, Sia forgot her values but she could always count on Abhay and Piroz's support.
"Zinda rehne mein aur zindagi jeene me bahut farak hota hai, insaan apna maut toh nahin chun sakta, par zindagi kaise jeeni hai woh haq har insaan ke paas hota hai"
Wasim is a complex character and tries to manipulate at any cost. Be it for a challenge or his own needs, Wasim has no limits.
He struggled a lot before coming to FMS. He has been brought up in a very decent environment so he knows what pain is.
Wasim has accumulated hate for rich people as according to him, benefits from the poor's hard work.
