Of course it's his business as a producer and film maker.  How can he not discuss the single biggest expense of a film and how it affects budgeting and financing - especially in a Producers discussion panel.  That and Anupama asked a question about still  rising salaries in the face of loss of theatrical during covid.

What dig against outsiders?  Did you watch the panel?  He doesn't name anyone but talks about actors who ask for huge salaries out of proportion to the box office they've made and how it affects budgeting for a film and the ability to pay top cinematographers, writers, editors etc.  Every producer on the panel agreed with him.
