IPL 2013 Final- Congratulations Mumbai Indians!! | Sports/Cricket

Royal Challengers Bangalore are set to lock horns with Delhi Capitals The Royal Challengers, mathematically, can still topple CSK to the second spot.

TheDelhi Capitals, led by Rishabh Pant, have already sealed their spot in the top two with a net run rate of 0.526.

Since the upcoming game won’t hold any significance from the tournament’s point of view, DC may try out a few new players. In their previous game, they won by three wickets against the Chennai Super Kings. The Challengers, on the other hand, have already made their way through to the playoffs.

RCB will be going into the game on the back of a four-run defeat at the hands of the Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, Virat Kohli and Co. has incentives to look forward to from their final league game. If they beat the Capitals by a fair distance, they could even topple the Super Kings to second.

SRH vs MI Match

MI vs SRH in IPL 2021: Will Williamson back in SRH Playing XI vs MI?

MI need to win the game to have any chance of qualifying for the playoffs! Sunrisers Hyderabad are set to lock horns with Mumbai Indians in Match No.55.

In their previous game, the Mumbai-based team thrashed the Rajasthan Royals by eight wickets after chasing down the target of 91 with 70 balls left. Ishan Kishan and the bowlers scripted the win for Rohit Sharma and Co.

The Sunrisers, on the other hand, must be high on confidence after beating the Royal Challengers Bangalore by four runs. For Kane Williamson and Co. pride is all they can play for. The Orange Army are assured of the eighth spot in the points table and they’ll want to end their campaign on a high.

Pitch Report

The pitch in Abu Dhabi has been a decent one for batting in the IPL 2021. But in the previous game, batting was a tad difficult and the bowlers extracted a lot from the surface. Going by the result of their previous game, the Sunrisers may not mind batting first.

Avg first innings score: 148 (7 matches in the IPL 2021 at Abu Dhabi)

Record of chasing teams: Won – 5, Lost – 2, Tied – 0

As per cricinfo.

Mumbai will need to win by 171 runs if they are to qualify for the playoffs. And if Mumbai chase, it is all but impossible for them to make it.
