Epi 5- Mother-daughter moments.

To be honest. the first half is not really much. Nupur moves to the stage and takes her ghungroo while MIL calls the ghungroos a bad omen and demands that Nupur put it back in its place for auction. Nupur initially refuses but falters upon Milind's request as well as not wanting to create a scene in front of media and invited guests. Milind was disappointing. He didn't even bother questioning his mother for her actions which are not justified at all. The auction takes place and Nupur plays her MIL by setting up a person at the auction and getting her ghungroos back. Win-win situation where people don't know who actually bought the ghungroos so no scene is created while Nupur gets her ghungroos back. 

Nupur places the ghungroos at the temple place and talks to god and has some conversation in regards to the essence of the ghungroos in her life. That being, Payal loved these ghungroos. Meanwhile, the kids seeing no money is given as charity decide to steal the ghungroo as they heard the auction and get to know that it's highly valuable.

Tunky mentions to Chikoo about Nupur going towards the temple with the ghungroos and so she follows. . Upon seeing Nupur leave sight temporarily, Chikoo decides to take the ghungroo and go but get distracted by her favourite "naariyal ke laadoo". The love for laddoo wins and just she is about pop one in her mouth, she gets caught by Nupur. They have a very sweet moment  and as I predicted after yesterday's pre-cap, they end up sharing a very beautiful moment where Chikoo mentions her dance passion and Nupur is more and more intrigued. Chikoo mentions her mummy and is about to show her pic to Nupur and the episode ends.

Precap: Chikoo successfully steals the ghungroos and escapes while Nupur gets to know that she is part of a racket and wants to help her. 

So, I am assuming that someone will interrupt the photo scene so Nupur will not be able to see her Payal's picture with her kidnapper -Rangoli!

The auctioning of the anklets definitely seems to build up for the latter portion of the episode. Milind definitely is pingponged between the sankalp of his mother & vishwas of his wife. Therefore, Nupur was cognizant & planned accordingly since she knew he's a soft target. 👍🏼

 I have a feeling Tunki will always stand with Chiku, no matter what happens. Their bond is truly adorable. ❤️Nazar nahi lage inki dosti ko. ❤️

The interaction was executed very gracefully between Nupur & Chiku thus the moment of the episode for the first F2F interaction of long lost mother-daughter in front of the lord of the dance, Nataraja. In her monologue, Nupur discusses the pang of separation of the anklets. She remembers how Payal used to feel serene around the ghungroos, alongside her chirpiness & naughtiness. She feels Payal's void even after 7 years. Payal (aka Chiku) enters the holy place, eying for the ghungroos which is "charity" in her eyes before stashing herself. Nupur is informed of Milind searching for her. Chiku comes out & so does her craving for the coconut sweets. Perplexed over ladoo vs ghungroo, she chooses the sweet before getting grasped by Nupur. 

Hahaha, their interaction was cute with the mother-child banter. 🤣Chori karna paap h. Chiku tries to make an excuse that she took it as a prasad but fails so bad in front of Nupur. 🤣 She gulped it in one go before getting reminiscent of the feeling she once discussed with Rangoli whereas Nupur asks for the taste. She creates a white-lie that she said to Rangoli. She struggled to ask for Nupur's anklets. While Chiku whitelies if the ghungroo gives mast dance, Nupur remembers Payal while Chiku then discusses her passion for dance. The wonder gets paused when Chiku mentions her mother's praise for dance. Chiku takes out the photo before Nupur thus the pause. 

Precap: The ghungroo become a medium to connect Payal & Nupur.

I wish they continue to retain the bacha party ka bachpan wala essence in tact & not overdo it in forthcoming episodes. Vaishnavi is improving gradually as she retains her bachpan in this role. 👍🏼Paridhi was right regarding retaining bachpan in her role as younger kids have overdone their role terribly in the past, especially in lead roles.
