He was caught in exactly the position she accused him of being in & that deserved some sort of sensitivity in terms of his responses. Sai overstepped it in some ways during Anniversary track but still it was in front of well wishers & what is he achieving by doing the same thing in a public space is something the writer's should have thought about before dramatizing the whole sequence.
I was also the day Sai ridiculed him after meeting Sam, up for Virat treating her has a deal wife.. But what he is doing right now, Sai never did as a deal wife as well...No wife deal/no deal deserves this embarrassment.. Just for that one woman, they are fine making Virat a villain... Great.. He could have stepped out when she started crying..how would he feel at any point of time when he had differences with his wife, to see her sitting with someone that way when he had telling people he needs to get back home as she is sick.. Would he take in front of his colleagues, his wife leaving that way? And he still has the audacity to call Pakhi mature and Sai a BACHI?
Why expect BACHI to understand so many things apart from the torture she gets to deal with, while you are explaining the MATURE one with so much patience.. In real world BACCHI ko samjhaya jata hai na shayad itne patience se? ANd he expects a conjugal relationship with the BACHI and wants to be accepted by the BACCHI as a husband!!
And hence I was never in favour of this cafe meet..

Everyone is staring but baat vahi karenge privately in front of 30 people in a cafe...Famous ACP of this town yelling hamare beech kuch nahi hai audible to half the cafe.... what really where they trying to convey in this episode? Is unnecessary drama so important 🤦
What a spectacle they made out of themselves in the cafe. So much so for their khandaan and izzat👏Frankly, even teenagers behave in a better manner and understand that they're in a public place. This entire sequence reflects very cheaply on the characters that the writers want to portray as "matured". And I'm talking about both Virat & Pakhi here.
