Chapter 2

Khushi woke up at the morning late and looked at the other side of the bed to search out for Arnav but didn't find him.

She looked at the other side of hers and Arnav jumped to peck her cheek, "Happy Birthday Jaan"

Khushi laughed out loud and rubbed her nose with his, "Thank you jaan!"

"Today I will make breakfast for you," he surprisingly offer a help and she frowned, "No need, you will mess it, as always"

"No. Daily you do this, but today is your day my love," he pouted back.

She smiled pecked his nose, "Aww, okay fine"

Khushi came out of the bathroom humming a song, in a bathrobe and entered to the kitchen when she realised burnt food.

She came out and realised that whole the toaster has burnt, so as the smoke smell was coming from the messed up kitchen.

She fumed with angst, "Hey go, tumne mera kaam aasan karne ki jagah badha diya," pouting.

"Sorry love, actually I was at call," he bit his lower lip.

"Aman?," She asked.

He nodded affirmatively and continued, "Actually there is a meeting so.."

She came nearer to him, "Then you should go to the office, it's your and bhai's dream"

"Thanks Khush! I love you," he smiled.

"Love you too," she responded and he left for the office immediately.

She changed into a gown when the door bell buzzed. It was Inspector Shindey.

"Krish's case has been closed. It is definitely an accident. I have arrived to give the belongings," said inspector Shindey.

She had tears in her eyes, when she looked at her brother's watch, which she gifted him on his 25th birthday. But, suddenly her gaze fell at something which opened her eyes wide open.

At least he attempted to make her breakfast. He made a mess out of it but the thought did count.

Looks like the investigation is being closed. They are content with labeling it an accident, but the family thinks otherwise.

Nice story, why I am thinking arnav is related to krish's accident, I think he has some motive behind it. Continue soon

Chapter - 3

Suddenly, Khushi's gaze fell over a book in the hand of the inspector. She read out while taking the evidence pouch in her hands, "The Accidental Love"

Insp. Shindey looked at her, "Does it belongs to Krish?," at which she instantly replied, "Not at all, Krish never liked books. He hated reading"

"Are you sure? I mean sometimes we don't know the belongings of our close ones, so...," Insp. Shindey uttered.

She boiled in anger and flabbergasted, "He wasn't just a close one, he was the only person in the world who belonged to me inspector. I know him the best, even more than him."

"I am sorry. I should understand your sentiments but we have collected this book from his car only," Shindey replied.

Khushi frowned, "Not possible. It someone else's"

"Do you mean while accident Krish was with someone else," Shindey asked.

She replied confusingly, "Maybe."

"Then that one could also have died," he dotted out.

"Or may be around the time of accident," she innocently uttered out and thought for a while.

Insp. Shindey asked her permission, "Okay may be. Do you know this book or the owner?," While handing over it to her.

"Have heard this name," she puzzled and opened the book when something fell down from it, 'a boarding pass'

She picked it up from the crystal clear floor and read out the name a loud, "Lavanya Kashyap?"

"Do you know her?," He asked at which she nodded her head negatively.

She started puzzling, "who may be she?"

Krish was involved with Lavanya. In what way, we don't yet know.
