So our very dear Gashmeer Mahajani aka Babusaheb or Aditya kumar Tripathi , who is also famous among kids as Imlie's hero or Babusaheb uncle , celebrates his birthday on 8th June. As he takes another step forward in life, lets shower him with loads love and best wishes on his special day.
He has worked in Marathi movies earlier but Imlie has been a total game changer for him. The way he has played Aditya Kumar Tripathi, we cannot imagine any one else playing that role the small nuances which he opts for has brought life to this character . His attention to detail , keeps it near to reality which has made us fall in love with this character even thou morally this is such a flawed character yet it is so close to our hearts. We hated him when he was obnoxious to Imlie and now when he is madly in love also we too love him.
He is very disciplined, passionate and a dedicated actor who works very hard on his voice modulation, breathe control by doing Pranayama and is a early riser , of course it goes without saying he is a fitness freak. He is a very diligent actor and thorough professional, he hardly sleeps 4 hrs a day and has all his priorities straight. He is a true entertainer, a Star performer in short a complete hero material package.

Gashmeer Mahajani began his film career with the 2010 romance, Muskurake Dekh Zara. He then took a break from the industry and immersed himself in theatre, acting at Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai for four years. He also directed Marathi plays during this time.
He made his Marathi film debut in 2015 with Sanjay Londe's Carry on Maratha opposite Kashmira Kulkarni. He then appeared in Deool Band opposite Girija Joshi.
He has worked in various Marathi movies including Kanha, One way Ticket and Bonus to name a few.
He also worked in Hindi movies including Dongari ka Raja and Panipat.
In marathi TV, he worked in Prema Tujha Rang Kasa season 1 & 2 and he has Anjaan: Special Crime unit to his name.
He also worked in a web series Shrikant Bashir in 2020.
He is currently portraying the role of Aditya Kumar Tripathi in Star Plus' Imlie opposite Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mayuri Deshmukh where he is loved as Aditya Kumar Tripathi.
