His heart broke hearing Riddhima's cries from behind the door in the middle of the night. He knows everything. Yes, he does. And he also knows how it feels when you love someone truly, but in return you just get used. Vansh was alone when he got to know about Ragini's truth. But, he rose up. He is the VR. He burns the soul who betray him. 

But Riddhima? She is like a delicate rose that suddenly bloomed in the garden of thorns. Her heart will break in hundreds of pieces if she gets to know Kabir is just using her like a pawn. He can't see her in the same place where he was 3 years ago..

Vansh's thoughts were shooed away when he realized there wasn't a sound anymore. He sighed.. She must've cried herself to sleep.. Looking at the door for the last time with moist eyes, he slowly walked away.

Early, next morning, Riddhima was showing some exercises to Siya near the garden area.

"Yes, just like that.."

she encouraged Siya in a soft, yet empty voice. She could sense that Riddhima was upset.. Its not even been a week, yet she got attached to her. Riddhima was like a sister she never had. Ishani was there, yet wasn't. 

Siya's eyes moved up to the open sky above them,  which was covered in grey clouds. 

"It's going to rain.." .

"Hmm?"  came Riddhima's reply in a lost voice.

"It going to rain." 

she repeated.

Holding the handle of the wheelchair, Riddhima brought Siya in.

"Won't you come, Riddhima?" 

"You go Siya, I am coming."

Siya nodded, and wheeled inside.She smiled and went back to the garden.

It was nearly 7am, and here Riddhima was sitting in the bench, lost in her thoughts. The small ceiling above her, protected her from getting drenched, leaving her feet below the open sky.

She could smell the scent of wet soil. Riddhima hung her head down, moving her feet back and forth.

Has Kabir really changed? Is he the same Kabir who would panic over a slight cut on her finger? Is he the same Kabir who would keep texting her day and night about how she was doing? Is he the same Kabir who never let her feel she is an orphan?

No, he isn't. He became heartless. 

Last night's words rang in her ears.

"You are just as useless as expected! No wonder why your parents left you at the steps of orpha-"

Her eyes again burned with fresh tears.

"They say when it's raining and you wish something, it comes true soon."

came a very familiar voice.

Riddhima jerked in shock. In a deep blue suit, Vansh was sitting beside her on the bench.

"Mr Raisinghania?" she whispered, instantly wiping off her tears.

"Saw you sitting alone, so thought to join in. I hope you don't mind?" Although the words were gentle, but his voice still held the power of VR.  

"Of course, not!" 

Riddhima smiled, yet the sadness was clearly visible in her eyes which didn't go unnoticed by Vansh. She felt cold droplets on her feet. Thousands of droplets fell down from the sky.. Her eyes moved to Vansh's neatly polished black shoes, that were too, getting gently hit by the rain.

"You're sad about something?"

Riddhima unknowingly nodded. 

"Want to share?"

"Why does love hold up a price to pay for it?" she asked, still looking down.

There was a strange silence for a minute, until Vansh answered- 

"True love doesn't hold any price."

He looked at his watch and left, saying

"I gotta leave.. Have a meeting in an hour"

Riddhima was again alone in the garden. Deep inside, she would be happy if he stayed a little longer. 

 She held her hand out, letting the cold, water droplets fall on it.

"They say when it's raining and you wish something, it comes true soon"

Riddhima silently wished for a family to call her own.. Someone who would love her unconditionally and will forever stay by her side.
