1. When i criticized the scene of virat pp handholding, i am criticizing the MAKERS for putting such a scene because this affects how we the audience perceive Virat. We have been made to see how Virat knows what pp feels, he has asked her clearly to stay away, he is only being "polite" formal and friendly. But then they give us this scene which looks SO out of place. As a viewer I cant understand why Virat would want to thank pp while he is still hugging his wife. Why not go find her afterwards?! that handholding act itself was not really needed and even if it was not romantic perse and done as a reflex to ask her to stay while he chatted with her, it could have been timed better. I don't think I have an issue with the handholding itself because its done with platonic intention.

I really wish there was a way to directly tell the makers to be more thoughtful about scenes when they show something. All the scenes need to flow. We cant look at this scene and not think whats up with virat- kal toh khud he looked uncomfortable with pp's touch, more than once he has pushed her hand away or prevented pp from touching him but today he has forgotten it all only to say thanks that too when he is hugging his beloved wife?!

Audience is invested in SAIRAT love-story but by putting together scenes without enough thought they make it very jarring for viewers to watch.

2. I am also very struck by how omi n ninad were shown during this whole drama. Their reactions during skit show that they still do NOT have a shred of guilt or regret. I'm upset that makers did not show them feel sad at all. if they are truly dil ke acche shouldn't they at least look a little bit sad?! Even bk looked upset/uncomfortable and even though she hasnt accepted pulkit or the kid, she is being shown kinda remorseful about how her actions affected devi. But omi ninad are unaffected. Baaki sab itnaaa emotional horahe hai aur in donon ko kuch farak nahi padta.

3. The episode ends with bk asking virat- i hope that now you dont have any malal. I hope next episode Virat tells her that bk's current actions do not minimize everything she has done for 10 years. And she has not done anyone a favor. The way bk told him "joh tumne kaha, maine kiya" made me think- woman, its no big deal! Its the least you could do! I hope they don't show him "forgive" his "dil ke acche" family so easily. I want to see him maintain a distance from them emotionally after learning of their deeds. Virat should be very disturbed, hurt/upset about how criminal minded , cruel, irrational the elders of his family can be. It'd be nice to see Sai comfort him and tell him that he wasnt able to see the truth because he was clouded by the lens of love for his family... that'd be a nice emotional scene.

I understand you, BUT considering what Patralekha has done and what he got to know just in the morning, these scenes and him being so patient and concerned for her , thankful to her doesnt go well with me.. SO much forgiving when it comes to these ones.. Had it been a month or two after that revlation, where he could have seen how PP is remorseful , I would understand this scene of hand holding.. but not right after what she admitted to doing and does not even feel an ounce of guilt.. considering that he had to plead her for the same..I am certainly not okay with the way he is behaving with Patralekha right now.. Especially because he had such extreme desire to punish Sai just few days back...He has not even thought on how Patralekha catalysed his emotions towards Sai when he thought she did a crime, even after knowing the truth..Also he doesnt get to want Sai for himself , he needs to be firm about certain things, including her respect in this house.. Even after how she played a big part in insulting Sai when she was being thrown out, even after when he went to apologise to her, even when he came back how is it okay for him to think about Patralekha and her sadness when Sai is in his arms for the vry first time.. The same man who exercises a need to punish his wife for a mistake she commits, is fine in moments and is concerned about a friend who does not even understand the meaning of friend..

I could also related to the whole scene if it was put some two months before when Patralekha was not this negative and Virat was still not privy to her expectations from him. Him caring for her right now when she has been so vile to his wife and to his sister, hours after revelation is something that I cannot related to Virat as a character.. Virat is also a character that went with, he cant tolerate injustice and crime.. It also doesnt go with Virat who punished his wife for spoiling his sisters life and is so soft with his friend who played a bigger part..

She owed Devi that , and no one owed her any acknowledgement , not even Virat.

I also felt bad for Patralekha, her smile when he holds her hand wants her to be near, gives her hope, she clutches on any single hope that this man gives her..He is failing to understand her and in turn giving her hopes.. I hope he clarifies somethings to her tomorrow ..Sai or No Sai..

If this is his character, his character is also to speak against crime , injustice even when it his family/friend doing it. Why does he have to say Thankyou.. He could have said thats the atonement you owed to both Devi and Hairini and to some extent Sai..

ALSO

Sai-Virat-Pakhi do not deserve a Kuch Kuch Hota hai MOment.. Their relationship was not that way.. PLus the hug was given to a friend and the love was stopped by the man..The whole scene was designed that way and it all fit there.. There was an understanding between the two lovers and a friend needed that hug..Most TV shows have replicated that scene this way only..I cannot connect that scene to Virat-Pakhi and Sai at all..

The whole purpose of that scene was this only in the movie and in shows that I have seen replicating this scene.. It always comes across that the lovers are pretty much understanding towards the third lead who is a friend and has feelings towards the man.. A hug that is given to a friend who is love with you in a moment of despair, while you want your love to be by your side, telling her as well that you will always be hers...That's what this hug is supposed to mean..

We can say it can mean differently here in Ghum ..Ofcourse..But it was not needed here at all, specially whatever we have seen of the three in the recent episodes.. And I cant avoid thinking that it has been yet again added to accommodate the third lead. This is so wrong..

I am not sure, what are they trying to do by adding such scenes.. This does not work here..not in this scenario.. Has left a bitter taste for Virat now.. Its too late to whitewash Patralekha now and they are doing it at the expense of Virat..

I am also weary to see the episodes where these three ghar ke ache bade get to sit in the dining hall call names and taunt anybody and everybody they feel like without an ounce of guilt..

Unfortunately i dont think Virat or even Sai for that matter will be shown thinking about the role each person including pp has played in the separation of devi- harini and pulkit and its impact on their own relationship which almost ended. Now they are back together but the impact of Sai's hiding truth, Virat kicking her out - they dont go away- they have become the knots in the thread of the relationship. Every relationship thread has knots - but these happen organically. Here it was deliberately provoked by actions of pp n bk gang.

I think both Sairat are like "alls well that ends well" so neither of them have realized that pp was a catalyst in provoking virat against Sai despite knowing the FULL truth.

I think the only intention of this scene was to grab eyeballs even if it is to cringe and make it a talking point even if it is to thrash the makers! Its like these guys dont care if us viewers hate on them as long as we discuss it!

I am pretty sure I have an obsession with Bhavani....I love to hate her๐Ÿคฃ

Been pretty nonchalant about SaiRat hug, KKHH actually. I have been only thinking about this scene all day (weird, I know ๐Ÿ˜‰). Wondering what Virat's reaction will be - I'm pretty sure either he is going to say "Past is past. Let's party" ๐Ÿ˜• or he is going to express quiet disappointment but Sai mata is going to urge him to forgive.๐Ÿ˜ณ

But I keep day dreaming....and your scenario is like my ultimate fantasy.... If it does play out this way, I owe you a treat...๐Ÿ˜†

@bold

Exactly thatโ€™s how I feel now. After discussing the episode going back and forth with the reel vs real scenarios, I feel makers are happy with the trending/discussions whether the hug makes sense or not.

Itโ€™s a cheap stunt pulled by the cvs. They have insulted Us the viewers intelligence IMO. Thatโ€™s is all to it.

I think itโ€™s going to be Sai asking Virat to forgive and move on ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ They have butchered Virat character, now they have to butcher Sai character as well. And to top it she is FL of itv serial. She needs to get a chance to show her mahanta as well.

Exactly. This is precisely one of the major problems I have with Bhavani's whitewashing and Pakhi's misdeeds forgotten. Because SaiRat's journey itself starts losing meaning. What are those knots that have developed in their relationship and why? Chavans and Pakhi had a major role to play in the developing of these knots. A well-crafted conspiracy, emotional manipulation and instigation nearly tore them apart - like it tore DevKit 10 years back. How can it be anything but relevant? Without it, the knots in SaiRat's relationship seems like meaningless aberrations.

By Sai's expressions that's what it seems like....never thought they would butcher Sai like they have done๐Ÿ˜ค

Ya i dont have high hopes. I know its most likely gonna be past is past. Let's focus on present n future. But one can imagine and think of the "what ifs" or what I'd like to see. Makers nahi denge but I'll cook my own khichdi in my head!
