So I finally did see the episode. And didn't find it as bad as I had expected, Probably coz I was really prepared for the worst.
The Sakshi-Vir convo was good once you ignore the context in which it was happening. Everything that Sakshi said to Vir today, he should have been thinking of himself. What DOES Vir want from Purvi? Does he expect her to remain his molkki or her life? Someone who has no rights, no respect in the society? Because that is what will happen unless he accepts her as his wife before everyone. Only Vir can give Purvi her due.
I did not feel angry or upset with Sakshi. She is doing what she feels is necessary to keep her family to her. She doesn't know that Vir loves Purvi, she only feels that her family is so used to Purvi that she herself has taken a backseat. And so she thinks that put of sight will be out of mind. A silly notion, but not altogether weird.
I also felt that she really did feel bad for sending away Purvi, just not enough to make her stay back. And to be frank, I did understand her POV.
PurVir conversation I didn't appreciate AT ALL. Vir is doing nothing to solve the problem at hand but wants Purvi to think of his feelings. What about her feelings?
Purvi is what disturbed me most. This girl has lost her spirit completely. She is just a shell of the strong, independent, self respecting girl we all loved. And I HATE seeing her like this.
I just want this track to end already so that we get our PurVir back💔
