She is Maa, 3 letters but yet such a deep word
Today as we are celebrating all the Mothers around the globe, we pay a tribute to her. As there is a saying, "Every day is Mother’s Day" and why not? When we know that a Mother cannot be replaced.
Maa is the one who stays up during the nights and makes you feel secure so that you sleep well
Maa looks after you, at each step of your life guiding you and reassuring you.
Maa lifts you up when the world puts you down
Maa puts you first because you are her top priority
Maa sacrifices her happiness to draw a smile on your face
Maa loves you deeply, lovingly, and unconditionally
Maa doesn’t eat to make sure that you don’t go to sleep on an empty stomach
Maa works hard and saves every little penny so that you don’t have to worry about your future
Yet why do we not appreciate her existence more?
When we reach the age of a teenager, why are we making her cry by being unfair to her?
Why do we shout at her, « it’s my life, go away! »?
Did we forget everything because we now aren't scared to sleep alone, we can know look after ourselves?
She carried us for 9 months, sacrificed her life to make us what we are today and it doesn't take us 9 seconds to forget it all.

Maa is an Emotion
Maa is a Feeling
Maa is Love
Maa is Sacrifice
Maa is Compassion
Maa is Care
Maa is Dedication
Maa is Hardwork
Maa is that strong attachment we will need throughout our lifetime regardless of how old we grow and even after she departs this world forever, her legacy still lives on in our hearts…forever and beyond.
