I feel this whole thing is riding on popularity at the moment. It needs one big crash to test HR's commitment to it. If lesser public favourites deliver hits then everyone will hopefully get a chance. That includes some contestants from earlier editions. Plus he may find some more in SRGMPA. The possibilities are endless it seems.

I guess he views this as free publicity, more or less.

SMP and Nachiket I doubt. Because HR  was never gaga over them even if we assume things are scripted. Moreover iam getting a feeling SMP might be stuck at Hyderabad for quite some time if what i heard is true. Sayali we may see I guess.

After seeing his compositions it might be difficult for lesser public favorites to deliver hits. Luckily Sawai had better songs. PD-ARUNITHA duet successes are mostly because of their popularity than the composition itself in my opinion. Even if he gives chance to others will it really help them? What do you think?
