Sad truth... This scene perfectly showed what's wrong with our society.... Bhale ke liye, family start kardo the ghisi piti dialogues and if nothing works emotional blackmail smiley29

But sometimes you cannot completely blame them, coz this is what they have grown up believing and unless they are exposed to the truth, they choose the path of 'adjust and sab theek ho jayega beta' πŸ€”

Honor Killing is another social evil associated with this. You dont want to bring dishonor to your family, be publicly shamed and then killed for the sake of love either.

Honour killing has actually increased nowadays... Not much has changed even today.

But closeness toh aise dikhaya jaa raha tha na.... Also Vashma calls bhanu as veerji... Isliye thoda ajeeb laga.

True. It did seem like they are close enough that way πŸ˜†

The irony is no God has taught us to hate another, tbh there are a lot of times where the same message is preached in the religious books, with the primary goal of serving humanity, but because we compete on whose is better, we spread the message of difference rather than similarity.

So trueeee! β€οΈ God just made humans, and humans made religions. Who has given us the right to put up these useless walls of differences?

Imo she's stronger than him... Solely because its much more difficult for a girl than its for a boy.... They wont be able to forcefully marry off uday like they did with vashma... Yet she's standing strong.... Full truth jaanti hai yahi sabse badi dukh hai... She has to keep a straight face while saying those horrible things to uday and even fake a smile to make it all look real.

Tbh I dont know about that, coz if Brij asks Uday to lay on a train track, he would do that for his dad coz he loves him too much

Yes it is tougher for a girl indeed, because she anyways has a cage of ideals and standards to live up to all her life, and added to that an unwanted relationship makes it EVEN more worse πŸ₯Ί

Adjust karte karte mar bhi jaati hai... A few months back in our state there was a case where a husband killed his wife using a snake... First time she survived the snake bite, second attempt was successful... All this after him and his family looted her parents😭
