Below you will see entries in two different themes: Crime Thriller (3 entries) and Science Fiction (4 entries). Please rate each entry out of 10 on creativity, originality, how well it matched the theme, and overall appeal of the synopsis.

Crime Thriller

THE DARK (K)NIGHT

ACP Virat meets psychiatrist Sai to get a proper therapy and come over the recent events of his life. As he starts consulting her, he opens to Sai and tells her about his past. He narrates his story where one night he went to meet his friend Pakhi and was drugged to slumber. The next morning when he opened his eyes he found himself lying on a cold floor with Pakhi's cold dead body beside him. He then reveals that he was working on the case for the past one month but was unable to find a single clue and hence closed it. Sai sympathizes with him and takes a vulnerable Virat to her house. As Sai studies his case she realizes that Virat is suffering from severe depression and has taken the habit of serious drinking. One fine day she thinks of randomly checking up on Virat and visits his house without informing. She is shocked to see his house in a mess with photos of Pakhi scattered all around along with some of her belongings. She finds a drunk Virat weeping in a corner saying 'I am your culprit'. After putting him to sleep Sai makes up her mind on finding the truth. Next day Sai visits Pakhi's home to see it located in a shady place away from main city. On enquiring the neighbors, she gets to know that Pakhi suffered from a troubled childhood and would frequently change jobs the latest being photography for which she would bring in unknown children at her house. Sai rummaged through Pakhi's house to find some empty drug bottles, soiled children's clothes, jute ropes with blood stains. On doing a deeper research Sai realises that Pakhi would trade children by drugging them and always held an innocent face in front of the society. As she rushes to Virat's house to inform him the same she comes across a diary and ring with 'P&V' in Virat's house. She reads the diary and connects the dots coming to the conclusion that ACP Virat was obsessed with Pakhi, used her for his wrong business, killed her under the impact of alcohol the night he was going to propose her and later closed the case using his influence to save himself. A scared Sai is about to leave but finds Virat pointing a gun at her head with her name tattooed on his arm making her his next obsession. She faints and wakes up next day lying next to a dead Virat.

The DARK (K)NIGHT is a crime thriller bankrolled by Reliance Entertainment, co-written and directed by Sriram Raghavan. The film stars the infamous trio Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh and Aishwarya Sharma essaying the roles of ACP Virat, Sai and Pakhi respectively. The background score is given by A.R Rahman.

Bhram

The story starts with the press clicking pictures and waiting. Everyone wants to know who is the ruthless girl who killed the gangster and might have killed the 9-year-old son of the most loved politician in this town - Virat ranawat. Pakhi Deshmukh - Virat’s political Guru’s daughter and childhood sweetheart and now wife. Their 5-year-old son was kidnapped a few days ago. The investigation leads them to a gangster and tracing his location they reach this girl’s house. They found the girl along with the dead body of the same gangster. They also found the clothes of the kidnapped child. The girl Sai was sitting next to the body with bloodied hands, torn clothes and a dagger in her hands. Sai insists that she doesn’t know anything as she uncovers events as to how that gangster entered the house, took control over it and at last tried to molest her. However, she refuses to know anything about the boy. The officers are sure that she is lying but Pakhi insists that she is not but yes she does know something. She believes that sometimes when people go through some trauma they forget stuff. Virat, however, wants to move on with the investigation. Sai keeps remembering vague stuff and her story keeps on changing every time. First, he entered through the roof and then attacked her from behind. Second, he was  already hiding in this house and attacked her as she came in. The problem is she is able to give a justification and the police are able to find a trace for each story. Finally, as they link all stories, they are able to come to a conclusion and with the help of the last call of the kidnapper they are able to trace the location. A long battle ensues, ending Virat’s life trying to protect his son. The entire state is in mourning. Pakhi is elected to be the next party representative and wins. As the party is celebrating her win Pakhi sneaks out to an unknown location where the door is opened by Sai. 

Virat Ranawat - A rag to riches story who rose to fame as he stopped the farmer’s bills from being passed in the state. Devoted husband to Pakhi and loving father to 5-year-old Vaibhav. Just wants to serve people.

Pakhi Deshmukh - Daughter of Virat’s Guru and one of the most influential politicians Ninad Deshmukh. Loving wife and herself a party worker knows all the knick-knacks of politics.

Sai - Girl caught in the wrong place and wrong time.

Bhram is produced by Drishyam Productions and directed by Neeraj Pandey. Screenplay and story by - Neeraj Pandey. It has an ensemble cast of Neil Bhatt as Virat Ranawat, Ayesha Singh as Sai and Aishwariya Sharma as Pakhi.

Red Dress

Red Dress follows Sai Joshi, a upcoming fashion designer who get literally caught in a web of lies weaved around her life that makes her one of the prime suspect when a serial killer decide to dress up the victims  in her label right before plunging  the knife into their chest, and changing  the Pristine white dress into Red. 

And when Sai  takes up a investigation of her own to find the reasons behind why she was targeted ,she gets into loggerheads with Virat Chavan , Assistant Commissioner of Police who was the lead in charge of the case . While the two battle it out and draw close to the killer, Patralekha Salunke aka  Pakhi , Virat ex girlfriend and model by profession goes missing just like the others . 

And if the killer isn't caught within the next 48 hours , Virat would likely find Pakhi just like the others, which means he might  just need to trust Sai even if she was still a suspect in the eyes of law because only then he could find the connection between the killer and her. A connection that might be more jumbled up then possible, that unravelling it thread by thread may take up  time they no longer have as the clock continues to  tick by faster each second. 

Red Dress is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, and with a stellar cast that includes Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh and Aishwarya Sharma . The film is produced under the banner Balaji Telefilms by Ekta Kapoor . Rajkumar Hirani and Ekta Kapoor have written the story and screenplay while the dialogues are written by Abbas Tyrewala

The Parallel World 

The Parallel World follows the story of a scientist Virat Chauvan who is imprisoned on the other side of the universe by a ruthless queen named Patralekha. He gets trapped while his research on the planet but fails to convince the queen the same and she imprisons him. Suddenly he finds his watch glowing and realises that he is receiving signals from his planet as a debutant scientist, Sai Joshi  is trying to contact him. 

Would Virat be able to provide enough information to Sai and would Sai be able to find him before Patralekha finds out forms the crux of the story.

Directed by Remo D'souza, The Parallel World features Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma and Ayesha Singh in lead roles. The science fiction is produced under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures, Red chillies Entertainment and Sajid Nadiadwala. Vishal-Shekhar take responsibility for the music, story and dialogues are written by Remo D'souza.

Ganne Ka Juice

Ganne Ka Juice is a Hindi thriller television drama.

Virat Chavan (Neil Bhatt), the ACP of Nagpur, meets Pakhi Mathur (Aishwarya Sharma), who claims that her husband was murdered. The case gets stranger by the day, involving mental illness of Mr. Mathur and frequent overdose of his depression pills. The mystery worsens as ACP’s wife, Dr. Sai Joshi Chavan (Ayesha Singh) is dragged into it, as the doctor who treated Sanjay and later wrongly approved the post mortem of his dead body. Through a tale of agonizing twists, it is brought to light that Dr. Pulkit Malhotra was experimenting with a new serum, nicknamed ‘Ganne Ka Juice' owing to its white complexion and sweet flavor, wherein dead bodies could be preserved easily as body temperatures internally dropped to -10°C. When it gets mixed with a drugs consignment handled by Mathur, he falls into trouble and kills himself using the serum that was under the research of Dr. Malhotra and Dr. Joshi, with the latter trying to shield the former.

 

The series, critically acclaimed for its music, direction and cinematography, is produced by Bindu Oriental and is directed by Noel Smith and has Jay Oza as the DOP.
