So guys I saw this amazing movie today called Misbehaviour starring Keira Knightley my favourite Hollywood actress. It's a movie which I would highly recommend as it's all about standing up for what you believe is right, and doing it with conviction.
It's about a group of activists who rally against the Miss World pageant held in London 1970 as they feel it is objectification of women. Most people dismiss them as a bunch of kill-joys but the movie is beautiful in the way it depicts a nuanced take on feminism, the male establishment, rascism etc. Also, it shows that these competitions can be liberating to some and that empowerment means different things to different people.
Do watch this movie folks. It was absolutely amazing and makes some fantastic points about liberalism and humanism and gender equations.
Would recommend it to allππ€π
