That is, I had a post where the link preview was visible first. But once I edit that post, the link preview is also gone although my editing had nothing to do with that link.

I tried removing and adding the link again but doesn't help.

My post was carrying a single link only btw.

Try to edit now and see if it works.

It's a great feature. The preview option is very convenient especially when you have to go check lot of links to find the right one.
