“Thinking cinema” doesn’t care if you are fair or dark...they can make your skin look darker in makeup. That kind of cinema needs you to be able to “act”. Dia is pretty decent actress, but she was no Konkona, Nandita or for that matter a Tabu who btw is fair!!!!

All these three ladies have a certain stillness and maturity in their performances, Diya doesn’t have that.

Dia is soooo bland though. Like there’s no flavor to her. Yes she’s gorgeous but her beauty still comes across as generic. Idk how to explain. Can anyone do a better job or am I losing my mind here? 😆
