Yes the Star Bharat Durga-Mata ki Chahya is a remake of the Bengali 2008 serial Durga.

I gave up on Star Plus LONG Ago. The best phase of Star Plus was between the 2000 to 2012 phase, with shows like Kahiin Toh Hoga, Kasautii, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. Star Plus faded away into bringing more and more regressive shows after that.
Atleast, Star Plus is much better than the REGRESSIVE REALITY OF ITV 2020, "THE ZEE NETWORK"
I think Star Plus has evolved over time to show lesser REGRESSIVE SUBJECTS, over the years, because if I do remember the 2000's Star Plus BALAJI SHOWS showed ABSOLUTE REGRESSIVE SUBJECTS such as MULTIPLE-MARRIAGES, EXTRAMARITAL-AFFAIRS, LOVE OUTSIDE MARRIAGE, OBSESSED LOVE, PRE-MARITAL PREGNANCY... & OTHER CRAP!
The shows has significantly become MORE MODERN AND FORWARD THINKING, subjective matter now
While ZEE has turned to COMPLETE REGRESSIVE REALITY OF PRESENT ITV , by portraying DEFAMATION OF WOMEN, MIDDLE-CLASS POPULATION & MARRIAGE.
