Hello dear readers of this story...first of  tons of thanks for waiting....and sorry for delay ...not quite well these days...posting the parts already written...enjoy

Part 2….

Life had always  tested her. Born in orthodox family she was never treated at par with the male child of the family. In Spite of Living in constant fear of punishment, she tried to spread her wings under the watchful eyes of Darji, head of the family. She enjoyed life though restricted one. She was happy. Then her family married her to a NRI...loving, charming and caring, he played a charade and she fell for his charm. He was sweet and caring to her. Unlike her family but he left her pregnant but it was that time she felt heavenly. Nurturing a life within her. She found the courage to fight against her own family to save her child.

Even before love seeped in her life. Her motherly instincts had kicked in for the child conceived deceptively, under the guise of fake marriage. She still  had staked her life for the unborn child. Fought with her family, to save the child. God was not by her side when the baby died in her womb. 

She often wondered in the silence of night how it would have been if the child was borned. 

Her longing for the baby augmented when Maan lost his memory. With the knowledge that Maan's memory might not return , had only magnified her desire.

The desire to bore a baby...to have baby.

Restlessness stirred in him. It had been his constant comrade since his accident. Like, something a miss. Unsettled. An unfathomable and unknown pull he felt toward Geet that stranger woman whenever she is around. 

The longing and detest duo merges and crept simultaneously in Maan and made him look up. His gaze softens instantly.

 His intuition was not wrong, this time too...never had been in the past one month.. it amazes him. How?

 There she was standing. Dressed in light pink polka dot night dress. She looked unwell, face dull and pale. 

Enraged he barked.

"Kyun ayi ho yaha" 

A shiver ran through her. Her eyes welled up. Her steps faltered. Should I tell ? 

She felt Queasy.

"Dadima" she called out hesitatingly, Contrary to her state her eyes shone with happiness. totally ignoring her amnestic husband.

"Bete why are you standing there? Come sit.," 

Savitri Devi instantly regretted to comply with Maan's diktat to send the poor girl in the outhouse without any help from the mansion including the servants.  Geet looked dull. Unlike her usual self. But the devastating accident had turned their life upside down. She was hanging between these two poor souls. One side maan condition was not better. His headache was frequent with Geet around. On the other hand if the headache showed some mercy Maan was not. 

"Geet"  Dadi called out. She hesitated a bit, wary of her husband's unpredictable mood.

 It was late. He didn't like the sight of her being weak and vulnerable. She looks better when smiles.

"Daadi I want to have a word with…" Maan raised from chair leaving the half eaten pasta. Savitri Devi ignored Maan. Geet needs her more than him.

"First sit bete u looked pale" dadi gave her glass. She took it holding in hand she looked down, feeling shy..delighted, a tiny smile touched her lip.

"Woh aap...woh...i am pregnant"

His step halted in the middle of the stairs. His grip tightened on the railings. Each step felt heavy. A surge of jealousy coursed through him. His vision became blurred as her word echoed in his head..

I am pregnant...I am pregnant...
