What's the point of WINNING?

I found it very funny and irritating to be frank when Sanjay and Nandini rejoiced at Anupamaa winning over Kavya in musical chairs, symbolising her winning at marriage as well.

But what's the point? The characters may be oblivious but we as viewers are not and should not rejoice at this scene. Vanraj doesn't deserve Anupamaa and her winning at so-called games doesn't feel satisfying, even if it upsets Kavya.

Also the makers here have not justified Vanraj falling out of love for Anupamaa in any way.

In Sreemoyee, there was a mention of her not being able to be sexually active after her daughter's birth due to some complications and after the affair reveal she even says that she could have understood Anindo (Vanraj's) needs if he could have atleast been honest about it and not deceived her. In one of the South Indian versions, VanYa are college lovers seperated because his family wanted him married to Anupamaa, so that makes us sympathize with them a bit as well.

But in this version, there is no such justification. Vanraj just stopped finding her attractive after a third child. He even has the audacity to blame her for not upgrading herself with time, which made him lose interest in her.

Simply disgusting!!

Vanraj is disgusting. Let alone falling out of love with his wife, he cannot even accord her the simple respect of not romancing with his mistress in his own home. He is a shameless two-timing conceited sleaze.
