Bollywood actress and global diva Priyanka Chopra has joined the cast of Keanu Reeves' 'Matrix 4'. According to a report, the film stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Neil Patrick Harris in leading roles. The makers have recently resumed filming in Berlin after production was put on hold in March due to the COVID-19. Production in San Francisco had been completed prior to the lockdown.
Reportedly, the cast of the flick did training for weeks to perform their action sequences precisely!
Also, Reeves explained last month, why he decided to reprise his iconic role of Neo in 'The Matrix 4', touting the new movie's "wonderful" storyline. He first portrayed the character in the 1999 original film.
'The Matrix 4' is scheduled to be released in theatres on April 1, 2022.
Meanwhile, Priyanka was last seen in 'The Sky Is Pink' helmed by Shonali Bose. It was released in October last year. She is also working a project with Rajkummar Rao.
