MUMBAI: Sometime ago TellyChakkar broke the news about Rangrez Production coming up with a new show on Sony Entertainment Television.

We also mentioned about Dill Mill Gayye and Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani fame Sukirti Kandpal is making her comeback with this show. She will play the female protagonist while actress Kanupriya Pandit, who is currently part of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and Dabangg fame Dadhey Pandey, has bagged the project to play a pivotal part.

TellyChakkar has another big update from the show!

According to our sources, the show is titled ‘Nine Months’ and it will be based on IVF treatment (In vitro fertilization).

We have already seen the Bollywood film Good Newwz based on IVF and now Rangrez Production’s Nine Months happens to be the first-ever TV show based on IVF. Post the lockdown, the makers are expecting to begin shoots.  

We could not get through actors and producers for a comment.

Actress Sukriti Kandpal has enthralled the audience over the years with her performance in shows like Dill Mill Gaye and Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. The Actress is all set to be seen in yet another interesting project of Rangrez Productions on Sony TV. 

According to the sources by Tellychakkar, the show is titled as 'Nine Months' and it will be based on IVF (In vitro fertilization). It also happens to be the first ever show on IVF and the makers are looking forward to start the shoot once the lockdown is lifted. 

Earlier, we have seen Bollywood film 'Good Newwz' starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani which was based on IVF as well.

Pyaar Ke Papad fame Aashay Mishra to play the lead in Sony TV’s Nine Months

Now, we hear that Pyaar Ke Papad fame Aashay Mishra has been locked to play male lead in the show.

There have been a number of instances over the years where we have seen some of the best-known casting directors making their successful debuts in the acting world and a lot of them even going on to endure successful innings. The best examples available to look at are the likes of Parineeti Chopra, Bhumi Pednekar, Abhishek Banerjee among others. In fact, we even saw casting honcho Mukesh Chhabra making his directorial debut recently with Dil Bechara which marked the last acting appearance of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

And while we are on the topic of casting directors making it into the acting world, here is another instance of the same that will be happening.

Popular casting director Rajan Singh, who has cast for popular shows like Ek Boond Ishq, Rab Se Sohna Ishq, and Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan among others is all set to make his own acting debut. Singh will be seen acting in Sony TV's upcoming show titled 9 Months. The show will be witnessing actors Sukirti Kandpal and Aashay Mishra (Pyaar Ke Papad) in lead roles. When it comes to Singh, he will be seen playing the role of Aashay's younger brother-in-law in the show. His character is said to be positive and will be providing comic relief.

9 Months is produced by Rangrez Production and it will also star actors namely Kanupriya Pandit, Dadhey Pandey, Mona Mokhha, Sharat Sonu among others.

The show is expected to launch sometime in September.
