Important note: My computer operating system got uninstalled due to some virus issue, yesterday morning and i had to reinstall it. I lost all my files. Everything in the computer . i had been depressed all day because i had prepared a huge thread for meiej anniversary and everything has now disappeared along with my personal stuffs. Now i had to do something. i managed to type down this much in a few hours. with the ongoing trending i didn't get much time either. i'll be updating the thread anyway. hopefully i'll finish properly updating by 29th. i'll try my best to. you all can comment now though, and later check the thread again after i update it fully.
Let’s begin with a small story. A girl in her early teenage sat scowling at her cousin who was more interested in switching channels continuously, trying to find some entertainment rather than continuing their random chatter. She kept ranting to her cousin about how there’s nothing worth to watch on tv , hence to play some movie , her glare focused on the remote clutched in her cousin’s hand. The moment colors channel played, something caught the ears of the chatterbox ceasing her mouth shut. “Tu hi mera ishq aur tu hi mera junoon” said a male lead in the promo of an upcoming show. Then came a pretty girl in pink churidar and they met. ‘Time stood still for Rk and Madhubala’ and so did it for those two teens and millions of viewers around the globe who knowingly or unknowingly were awestruck by their chemistry. Her cousin was about to change the channel when remote was suddenly snatched from her. “hey” she scowled at her little sister. “Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon” said the voiceover. “Filmy name right?” she looked at the younger girl and they shared a knowing smile. They knew they had something to look out for in tv after a long time.
Few days later, while surfing through fanfictions on the couple, the little one came across India forums. She joined IF soon, for the MEIEJ forum became her world of wonder where countless like her came together to share their love,creativity and deewangi for Rk and Madhubala whom they affectionately call Rishbala. First as a silent member, and then as a fanfictions writer cum editor for her favourite couple and show, She made lots of friends in the forum whose friendship she’d cherish forever as they all still together wonder the craziness they share for Rishbala. Well, the little teen i’m blabbering about is myself, who is no more a teen now but still an ardent diehard fan of Rishbala and MEIEJ. So let’s begin the celebrations of 8 Years of Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.

They’re feelings and moments and smiles and laughter.
Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon was made as a tribute to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema. The trendsetter show was the first one to have a Bollywood backdrop. It is dubbed and telecasted in 30 plus countries and also remade owing to its worldwide popularity. Rk and Madhu played by Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami is the top most couple of ITV and are regarded as one of the most iconic jodies. Their chemistry is so natural yet surreal that they’re called the heavenly couple and is still the most wanted back Jodi in demand even after 8 years. The story begins in a dramatical style but slowly progress to its hatke form. The show and actors has won numerous awards during its runtime and many other shows that came after MEIEJ get inspiration from our very own show. MEIEJ commands a huge fandom who are still crazy as they can be for the show and couple.
Well, 2012 was the year and may 28th was the day the two teens along with the rest of millions of intrigued audience started to watch the show. The starting was too dramatic with a villain businessman from a village and his evil mother demanding his wife give birth to a boy, the pregnant lady fleeing that hell with her daughters, a commoner stuntman rescuing them and him along with his sister welcoming the three into their family. The show progress to show the girl who’s born in a movie set grows up to become a happy go lucky girl with no big ambitions other than her family’s happiness. Then came our Hero who hit her life like a raging storm with his dazzling attitude. They met, like how a prince and princess would meet in the deep wild forest. But no, she wasn’t a damsel in distress and neither was he looking for one. Unlike in fairytales this prince and princess met to ignite a battle, a battle between virtue and pride.Leaving everyone breathless at their sizzling chemistry that set the screen ablaze. They fought like no other, hated like no other and when destiny started weaving their heart’s strings together the Right kameena and his jungli billi began loving each other like no other.
Watching few initial episodes, no one would’ve had the slightest inkling that this show would be that one to embark the huge milestone in the history of ITV as the couple went on to conquer and rule gazillion hearts worldwide, becoming a beautiful part of many lives.
When tere haath mein and main agar kahoon laid the beginning to their journey, bas haq hai ik mera steered it along the depth of passion. But hum hai deewane is what defined them. It marked the moment when the two star crossed lovers started having feelings for each other and began their saga of discovering love and discovering each other through love.
It’s been 8 years since the egoistic attitude wala Superstar and his feisty Biwi began their reign on television as bittuji and bappa ji joined them as cupids. Also loving Radhaji, mother india padmini ji , trishna, lady bheem roma, shamsher ji, Bhatia clan and the rest of the cast, all of them contributed to make MEIEJ the Iconic Blockbuster that It Is. 8 years have passed. Yet we still love and nurture those memories to make them live forever. The love for Rishbala and MEIEJ will never fade as their millions of fans would still keep them alive within them and together let’s relive their story of Ishq and Junoon.

That he’s someone from whom she must stay away, else with his ferocious flames he’d burn her down to nay, that He was the danger that annihilated anything that came on its way.
He burned and smouldered all in his trail, as he kept mounting and, rising all the more hale.
Yet the sight of him had her enraptured. All the defences she build up shattered.
She followed the path to his abode. Shutting out any cautions that tried to forbade.
One look at her had him panting, with intense desire and wanting.
The bright raging flames of eyes didn’t have her scared but ensnared. With his blazing form drawing her even close, within him she felt herself transform in whole.
She waited anticipating inevitable fate as distance between them did finally abate.
Yet came no blister or burn, as fire engulfed her being,

MADHUBALA EK ISHQ EK JUNOON
No, this isn’t the story of a common girl marrying a rich guy. It’s not as easy as it sounds. This is the story of two poles apart individuals who cross paths in the most unusual way as their destinies entwine in a never seen before manner. The way they discover each other and discover their love for each other is what Madhubala ek ishq ek junoon is all about. The story begins with a pregnant mother Padmini Chaudary, who flees from her village, her psychic husband Balraj, mother in law and clan to save her daughters from their clutches and give them a life. She meets shamsher mallik, a stuntman who saves her from balraj and his goons, making them believe that padmini and the children are dead. He and his sister Roma accepts them as a part of their family and gives a roof over their head. Shamsher becomes the father of Trishna Mallik and the baby Madhubala Mallik who is born in the sets of a Bollywood film. Years pass, while Madhubala grows up to be a beautiful young lady with no big aspirations in life and just goes with her studies and part-time job at the parlour, Trishna grows up with great big dreams of becoming a heroine and her pillar of support cum mentor turns out to be their bua, Roma. Then Mukund, A saleman who has a crush on madhu befriends her. But The Actual Story Begins When the Nation’s Superstar Rishab Kundra Gate Crashes the Party. An accident gets Mukund hospitalized and the very person who causes it in his drunk state happens to be RK. Madhu who always stood for justice, calls in the typhoon in her life by filing a case against Rk. RK is playing piano, enacting a scene in his sets for the press when Madhubala walks in declaring that she’d put him behind bars and therefore teach him a lesson. She kept her word but it resulted in breaking her world. RK who vows to ruin her life for the next 40 years, breaks her engagement by slighting her name in public ruining her reputation by tagging her as his girlfriend and humiliates her family by bribing mukund’s mother. An angered Shamsher goes to attack Rk and gets beaten up to death by his goons. Doctors declare that 40 lakhs are needed for his treatment. Due to the humiliation mukund informs madhu that he’s unable to go forward with their relation and madhu calls off their engagement returning him the ring. Rk spoils Trishna’s Dream of Becoming a heroine making Trishna Turn against Madhu. A distraught madhu who helplessly watches her mallik ‘s miserable condition goes to the studio and slaps Rk not once but four times for ruining her family’s happiness. To Avenge his insult, Rk makes a deal with madhu that he’d take care of mallik’s treatment but in return she marry him and become Madhubala Rishab Kundra. Having no other ways to arrange the money, Madhu agrees to it in order to save mallik. But it wasn’t a Normal wedding nor was it an extravagant wedding of a superstar. It was the Chaar Phere Shaadi that created Headlines. Destiny played its game to bring them together. And as our Rk rightly said, aag to tab lagti hai jab Rk Aur Madhubala aamne saamne hote hai. Rk started treating Madhu as his private property and also made her his spot. Madhu gets a hint that the reason of his hard headed behavior is his troubled relation with his family, especially his mother Radha Mohan Kundra/Radha Bhatia. She surprises him by saving him from a falling light in the sets injuring her own hand making Rk ban his step father’s company instruments in his sets as they’re of low quality. This angers both his step father kuku aka kulbhushan Bhatia and step brother sikky aka sikandar Bhatia. Rk gives Madhu permission to visit her mother in return for saving him. Radhaji tells Madhu that RK has distanced himself from everyone after his father’s death and not let anyone get close to him all the years and with their marriage, madhu has become the sole person Rk has knowingly or unknowingly given permission to get close to him, hence the only person who can change him. Kuku Bhatia gets Rk’s childhood pics with his father Mohan Kundra published making Madhu the culprit as she had used the pics and threatened to get them published to get Rk apologise to her mother. Rk retaliates harshly by letting a hospitalized mallik know about his and Madhu’s marriage and also gets his fingerprint on the 40 lacks deal document. The same Rk prepares khadi for madhu when she falls sick that night due to drenching in rain and forcefully makes her drink it when she refuses to. Madhu discards Rk’s liquor collection stating it’s her duty as a wife to take care of his health. Rk strikes back by insulting Madhu in a party he hosts and distraught, she leaves the mansion. But fate had other plans for the love birds. madhu wanders off to the studio in a broken state on that rainy night and Rk arrives in time, pulls her up and carries her saving her From getting electric shock from a broken wire which was about to fall on the water under the artificial bridge she was hanging from. He tends to her wounds though angry at her for wandering off and he also finds out about Madhu’s fear of darkness as she ends up in his arms for the first time. That night Madhubala sees a heart behind his arrogance and attitude, witnesses the Rishab inside the Rk, someone who treats a human as human. She reveals to him that it was not her who got his pictures with his father published after she gets to know that he had retorted harshly on that issue because those pictures where clicked just few hours before his father’s suicide. She also states that and that she wouldn’t have used them against him if she had known about it’s past. Rk carries Madhu to their car and to their mansion when he sees her difficulty in walking due her injury. He also takes her to padmini first before returning to their mansion as padmini was worried about Madhu’s whereabouts the previous night. Padmini blames Rk for Madhu’s situation but she defends him and denies of him doing her any harm. While returning, Rk states that he realizes why she lied and defended him infront of her mother but he doesn’t need any sympathy from her. From there starts a journey of love and passion when Madhubala decides to bring the real Rishab back from within THE RK he showed the world. Rk brings Madhu to his room and They even start sharing the same bed with a pillow wall in between, as Rk introduces Madhu as his biwi to Dipali Bhatia, his ex-girlfriend who got married to sikky for fame and money. Dipali tries to get close to Rk saying she still loves him but he refuses to give in to her acts and orders her to stay out of his life and not to come inside his room or anywhere close to him as he’s a married man. He ridicules her saying her love disappeared when she married sikky expecting fame and money and when he became a flop and Rk a superstar, her love is knocking on the doors again. She apologizes saying how much she regrets her decision of marrying sikky and realizes that she only loved Rk. On seeing Rk not budging even a bit in his decision and tells her to respect and not taint their dewar bhabi relation thereby respecting her own marriage, she tries to intimidate him saying she’d reveal to Madhu about their past relation and also says that she’d put an act with tears infront of Madhu saying that he used her in every way and when he got fed up of her, pushed her onto his brother’s head. Rk furiously tells her to stay away from Madhu irking her more and She taunts his and Madhu’s aadhi adhuri shaadi asking him what Madhu means to him. Rk Declares to Dipali “ Biwi Hai woh Meri. Woh Madhubala Rishab Kundra hai” Just when madhu enters the room to get her prescription making her stare at them shocked, not understanding the scenario and at the same time surprised at Rk’s words. Madhu tries to know about Dipali from Radha when Rk intervenes, takes her back to their room. While applying ointment on her wound changing and changing bandage for her, He tells her not to inquire much about anything and to stay away from Dipali. Mallik starts recovering quickly with the help of a foreign medical equipment Rk imports and padmini arrives at the mansion to thank him for it. But RK behaves coldly with her which irritates Madhu. Dipali tries to play victim of Rk’s cruelty infront of madhu by saying Rk used her and threw her away like trash when he was done with her. She gives her a box filled with jewelry and tells her that she’d give her some more in cash to add upto the forty lakhs Madhu owes Rk. She urges Madhu to give it all to Rk and escape from his clutches but Madhu declines the offer saying whatever is there between her and Rk, it would stay between them only, she’d repay him and resist him on her own and that she doesn’t want a third person coming between and also thanks her for trying to help. Dipali is vexed as her tries of getting close to Rk and Rk away from Madhu are failing. Rk and Madhu get attracted to each other through their silly fights and nok-jhoks , start understanding each other better and realizes that there is more to each other than they already knew. Madhu brings Bappa home against Rk’s wishes and they have an argument on it as Madhu refuses to remove the idol from their mansion and continues her pooja. He challenges her and mocks bappa but madhu realizes that even though he shows he doesn’t believe god, deep inside he respects bappa on witnessing his emotional with anger and dissappointment rant blaming bappa for his father’s death and seeing the flame about to flicker out he covers it with his palms preventing it from going off due to wind, when everyone else is asleep. On the Day of ganesh chathurthi Rk forcefully takes Madhu to her chawl along with the idol saying her to celebrate with her people and not at his house. But he ends up having a change of heart seeing all the celebrations around him and remembers him celebrating ganesh chathurthi as a child. He merges with the crowd to celebrate the festival dancing and applying colour on himself, which both surprises and gladdens Madhu and Radhaji. During the occasion Rk gets shot on his left shoulder and is immediately taken to hospital, where Bittuji Rk’s manager, while having a conversation with the police, reveals to the family about Rk getting extortion calls demanding money from the men of a local don. Everyone is shocked and distraught. It is shown that kuku Bhatia had paid a local assassin to shoot and kill RK but the assassin reveals to him that someone else shot Rk before he could. Rk is in need of blood and on testing, Madhu’s blood group matches with his and she gives him blood. Radhaji is grateful to Madhu and thanks her making Dipali jealous. Dipali blames Madhu for Rk’s situation and tells her to go away from his life. Surprised at her venomous behavior Madhu replies To her that however their relation might be, She is his wife, he had made her wear the mangalsutra on his name and that come what may she would never leave her husband’s side. Doctors say there’s no hope for his survival. Madhu walks barefeet to Siddhivinayak and prays to Bappa to give her pathidev back. Her prayers are answered as Rk Starts responding, her faith and determination revives him back. Dipali tries to make Rk believe that she was the one who gave him blood, to get his attention, knowing Madhu had denied to inform Rk about her help, but Rk calls out her fake act with his own, tricking Dipali to reveal Madhu was the one who actually gave him blood. He shuns Dipali and questions Madhu on why she gave him blood to which she replies, because he would’ve done the same if she was the one in need. It is shown that Shamsher, who had recovered from his injuries, was the one who shot Rk and he tries another attack on Rk, trying to stab him in the hospital. Rk blocks the dagger getting his palm injured and Madhu arrives on time and pushes him off Rk. As the lights were kept off, neither Rk nor Madhu sees his face and he manages to escape. Rk starts recovering with Madhu’s care and the bond between Rishbala, radhaji Madhu, Bittuji and his Bhabhiji strengthens. Rk and Madhu share a lot of cute nok-jhoks and friendly moments as Rk starts getting over his father’s death and slowly revives his relation with bappa with Madhu’s help. He Invites Padmini and mallik for the pooja arranged by radhaji which makes Madhu happy. Rk decides to make peace with the Malliks and he realizes that shamsher was the one who attacked him both the times. Both of them then keeps aside their differences for Madhu. Madhu becomes Rk’s chemical biwi taking full control of looking after his health. Later, dipali asks the police to continue their investigation on the attacks on Rk which Rk had asked them to stop, not wanting Madhu to know of Mallik being the culprit. Dipali goes to spy on the Malliks, records video and gets the police to arrest shamsher Mallik. Rk withdraws the case releasing mallik from prison but this makes the whole kundra house excluding Rk and Bittuji turn against
Madhu and also creates a huge dent in padmini’s and mallik’s relation. Rk trusts Madhu and turns against his family, supporting her. He becomes her savior by standing up against Dipali’s vile moves against Madhu and Radhaji’s rude statements. He takes Madhu to the lakeside where he reveals madhu his past, how his father committed suicide when he was twelve, his mother remarried and he got left alone, how dipali left him for money before he entered the industry and how all those betrayals made him THE RK. Rishbala starts getting closer to each other with every passing moment and Madhu starts having feelings for Rk which initially she tries to deny but soon Realises that she has fallen for her devil. Rk too starts developing feelings for Madhu, which he himself doesn’t realize. Madhu keeps Karwachauth fast for Rk without informing him, getting back her earrings from him which he had kept, sneaking into the kitchen and eating the leftover sargi, and secretly getting mehendi applied from a person with bittuji’s help which dipali finds out. Madhu Falls sick during that day and Rk finds out about her fast when she refuses to take medicine. He furiously lashes out at her and taunts their marriage and all these traditions hurting her. Bittuji opposes Rk’s behavior and leaves to the mansion after madhu. But Rk arrives on time to break her fast and does so like a dutiful husband making Madhu happy. Rk catches her when she’s about to faint and carries her to their room. Rk takes care of her after the doctor leaves, staying by her side awake for most of the night. Radhaji feels bad for Madhu even after Dipali trying to manipulate her mind against it. Rk and Bittuji Finds out that Dipali had poisoned the leftover sargi to make madhu fall ill. Rk takes Madhu to the studio to celebrate Karwachauth in his style where they share intesnse Romantic moments. After some events, they ultimately realize their true feelings for each other and confess their Love in a passionate and Romantic moment at the farmhouse where they share their first kiss.

And the Lines that caught our hearts even before the beginning of their story,
Tum hi mere chahat ho, tum hi meri dhadkan, Tum hi mera ishq aur Tum hi mera junoon.
Dipali Tries to create troubles again but they overcome all that infuriating her. Rk also makes Padmini and Shamsher patch up and later also gets them married to each other. He makes a plan of his and Madhu’s future house, with candles, as they talk about having three Kids and a different life away from everything. A series of events takes place in between like the sudden return of balraj, who wants to seal a production deal with Rk, later finds out that his wife and children whom he thought unlucky and believed to be dead, still very much alive. He devises a plan to kill them, luring Trishna into signing a movie contract. Trishna hids the news of his return from her family for her movie and also thinking that he doesn’t recognize them as to him, they’re no more. Balraj holds the mallikas and bhatias captive at Padmini’s and shamsher’s wedding avenue, to Kill Madhu but Rk reaches there on time and defeating all goons rescues her. Padmini Shoots Balraj when he is about to shoot Madhu thereby putting an end to his torture. Madhu and Trishna Stands up for padmini in court, revealing all the tortures she endured at Balraj’s hand and proving that she shot him for her daughters’ safety and Rk supports them. The court frees her and finally Mallik marries Padmini, in a small affair. Rk and madhu decides to get married again and move away from the glamour world, to a place no one would recognize them and make a world of their own. BUT BUT BUT, Rk dumps Madhu at the mandap Launching the biggest Twist of the era. His heart always loved Madhu But his mind overpowers his love and directs him towards revenge. He declares to a broken Madhu that all the love drama was fake and revenge was his motive. He tells her that he was playing with her emotions breaking their marriage and all ties with her. Madhu is left heartbroken, unable to believe her Rk would do such a thing. The disastrous yet tremendous unwedding Night is one of the most heartbreaking and emotional incident of their life. Bittuji and Radhaji are furious at Rk for betraying Madhu but later decides to do something and bring them together. Madhu tries to forget everything and move on wile Rk pretends nothing matters yet both of them are unable to forget the time they spent together. Dipali tries to ridicule Madhu visiting the parlor she works in but madhu gives her befitting reply and shuns her. When Dipali tries to gloat about her stunt with madhu, Rk pours water on her face and warns her to not mess with Madhu as it’s solely his Right, pissing her off more seeing the influence Madhu still had on him. Madhu gets job as hairdresser in the Rk’s movie set. They both argue and challenges each other. Madhu tries to ignore his presence whereas Rk tries to Hate her and push her memories away but both they both fail in doing so. Rk insults her infront of the crew making her breakdown making him realize that her pain still mattered to him. Yet he wasn’t ready to come out of the denial zone. They again get into fight making Rk bring Dipali to the set, giving her a small role in the movie. Madhu gets uneasy and disturbed seeing dipali with Rk and the scenes shot where she is close to him. Dipali taunts madhu and gloats in front of her making her more insecure. Realising Rk is playing her, she doesn’t give up and returns the next day with a sarcastic reply to him. With all these fight going on, they still find it hard to not steal glances at each other. Later in the party dipali mixes alcohol in madhu’s cool drink. A drunk Rishbala spends the night together, with cute nok jhoks, funny banter and even confesses their love for each other. Rk takes Madhu home with him and madhu is shocked to wake up beside him the next day. They feel a tug in their hearts realizing they were not over each other yet. Rk saves Madhu from a guy who tries to misbehave with her during outdoor shoot and thrashes him left and right. Madhu and Rk are left confused of their feelings as they start getting concerned of each other again. Then enters sultan, a gangster. He tries to trap his rivals, using his disabled son Aryan, as a pawn from where madhu saves the kid and has an argument with sultan. Madhu Misses Rk while at Sultan’s Hideout. She develops an affectionate bond with Sultan’s son. Sultan drops her at the chawl and seeing Rk worried about Madhu’s whereabouts, standing there, threatens her that he’d kill Rk if she were to reveal anything to him. Madhu and Rk has a heated dispute on her disappearing and an unknown guy dropping her off. Trishna Informs Madhu how worried Rk was about her but Madhu tells her to ignore it. Sultan forces Madhu to spend time with his son. Rk Starts getting restless and jealous seeing Madhu with another guy. When he questions her about it, she rebukes him back and asks why it bothers him. Her eyes express that she hopes for his love confession and his expression conveys he wants to do the same but neither budges and giving in to his ego, he walks off. Madhu becomes friends with sultan and Rk is still sulking over Madhu. But nothing could keep them away from each other on holi as Rk comes to apply colour on her, they share a passionate dance followed by Rk colouring her face and arms as he declares to her that only he has the right to put colour on her. Rk starts missing Madhu and finally accepts that he had always loved her. He makes her arrive at the studio where they spent an emotional yet romantic moment where Rk talks to her about their time Together and Madhu gets blown away in his words. They almost kiss, when she comes to her senses and tries to leave but Rk forcefully brings her to their mansion and threatens her to kill himself if she leaves.
When he asks her whether she has loved only him, exhausted and frustrated, she reveals that she has only loved him and him alone as she didn’t have a heart to love anyone else after he broke it. He even handcuffed her to him to ensure she doesn’t run away. Such was his madness for her. Madhu decides to teach him a lesson and avenge her betrayal. She starts pretending that she’s giving them a chance and is willing to stay with him. She starts spending more time with Rk and also goes on a date with him which is witnessed by sultan. Rk asks Madhu whether she would be ready to jump off the terrace to prove her love for him. She shocks him by declaring her love for him and jumping off the terrace but he catches her in time and pulls her up. He shouts at her for her stunt and tells her that he has right on her every breath and can’t hurt herself. Dipali invites sultan for a party from Madhu’s phone creating a huge fight between sultan and Rk. Rk discovers that it was Dipali’s doing but Madhu argues with him on his trust issue and leaves the mansion in spite of him requesting her not to. Sultan is happy seeing Madhu back in Chawl but it is Short-lived as Rk arrives to take her back with all pomp. Madhu had asked Rk to confess his love for her infront of everyone thinking he wouldn’t do it. But Rk Surprises her by going on his knees in front of everyone at chawl and proclaims his love, confessing that he wants to marry her in a proper manner with all Rituals intact. Madhu is confused seeing this side of him but nods yes to his proposal and Rk makes her wear the Ring. He takes her to the woodhouse he had made on his own and confesses that he had always loved her, even when he told himself he hated her, it wasn’t hate. It was his ego overpowering his heart making him turn a blind eye towards his love. As she spends more time with him, she realizes that he truly loves her and wasn’t playing with her emotions this time. She starts feeling guilty about what she had planned on doing to him. She realizes that she can never hurt her Rk nor let him get hurt. She hugs him confessing her love for him and says that his Madhu has finally, truly come back to him. The Mehendi and haldi ceremonies take place with all grand festivity and joy as Rishbala gets truly immersed in each other’s love and Madhu is elated seeing the way Rk has changed for her. Bittuji and Radhaji are finally happy that their favourite Duo is finally getting married. Though Padmini and sultan try to stop the wedding, along with dipali’s involvement in the matter to help them without their knowledge, letting sultan enter the mansion, the wedding takes place, filled with drama, majestic celebrations and lots of happiness. What makes fills the drama equation in the wedding is that, Rk overhears Madhu telling Sultan that her initial decision was to take revenge on Rk and leave him at the mandap but she has realized the truth in his love and is going to marry him and become his. She tells him that all she wanted was Rk’s love and that was the why she decided to take revenge, that even after his betrayal she had only craved for his love and now that everything is in place, she’s going to get married to Rk. Broken by her words Rk walks off and shuts himself in a room, breaking anything that caught his eyes. Madhu tries to calm him down and clarify her words but Rk takes her to the place he decorated for their suhagraat and questions about her conversation with sultan. Madhu admits her mistake, asks him to forgive her and tells him that all her actions where because of her love for him. She tells him she can’t live without him but Rk doesn’t listen to her and take a pleading Madhu Back to the mandap. He surprises her by apologizing for his mistakes infront of all guests and Medias and they have an emotional union. Finally Rishbala get married without any apprehensions, just joy, hope and Love and officially Become Mr. and Mrs kundra. Padmini too happily accepts them as Roma and Trishna gladly cheer. Again twists never leaves as a sultan, disturbed and angry that Rishbala are married is greeted by the entry of his foster father who leads him to his biological mother Meera, who’s admitted in a mental assylum. He reveals to Sultan that he’s the first child of Mohan Kundra and that Mohan had given a new born sultan to him and his wife who didn’t have any child. He tells him that Meera was the first wife of Mohan whom he later dumped and then got married to Radha which affected her mental health. He barges into Rk mansion with his mother and fights with Rk who refuses to believe sultan over his father. Radha who recognizes the guy with sultan as Mohan’s driver realizes that it is true and Madhu too gets to know about it, but Radha pleads her and makes her promise not to tell Rk about it. Madhu feels she’s wronging Rk but due to Radhaji’s Request she hides it from him as his whole existence would break the moment learns of it. Sultan gets jealous seeing Rk and Madhu’s togetherness and tries to separate them. He even sends goons and creates trouble in Rk’s outdoor shoot. He gets his hands on Mohan and meera’s wedding photo, publishes it in the newspaper and slanders mohan kundra’s and Rk’s name in front of press. An infuriated Rk is about to go on a war with sultan when Madhu finally reveals the truth to him. Rk is distraught knowing that the person he considered his hero is a cheater and breaks down. Madhu calms him down and tells him that whatever might go, their love is there and that is enough for them both. Madhu lashes out at sultan for his dirty game and he tells her how Rk snatched everything from him, even her. Madhu is disgusted by the person she once considered friend and spits on his hand which he forwarded asking her to go with him. She tells him that Rk was right about sultan, that he was only doing everything to get her sympathy but not any betterment for his mother. Madhu declares to him that she loves Rk, and that neither sultan, nor god, nor death nor Rk himself can snatch her love for Rk from her. She states that now his fight is with both Rk and Madhu and that Rishbala will fight against him. Furious seeing his plans to get madhu fail, he meets up with Rk in a cliff top and gets into a physical brawl with him. Madhu and Bittuji intervenes and Madhu tries to stop their fight. Sultan takes out his gun to shoot and Rk tries to take it from him and in the scuffle Sultan pulls the trigger making him get shot himself and fall off the cliff. Rk is jailed for the murder and later it is shown that Sultan had faked his death and was paying his lawyer to get Rk punished. He threatens Madhu with Rk’s life and when she doesn’t budge, makes his men in jail attack Rk getting him hospitalized. He makes Madhu demand divorce from Rk and pull out a hate act infront of Rk and commands that she leave with him after the divorce. Rk is bailed out. He who was initially angry and upset on her makes it difficult for her both at court and at home but slowly realizes that she was being a toy at sultan’s hand. Rk makes her confess how sultan’s dirty stunts forced her to do his will to keep Rk away from Danger and Rk vows to ruin sultan for making Madhu go through so much pain and for trying to take her away from him. He with the help of Inspector Joshi and the police department hatches a plan to corner sultan at the dahi handi celebration. Sultan tries to kidnap Madhu but she escapes. A big fight ensues and Rk ends up Shooting and killing Sultan for real. Bhai’s chapter ends and Rishbala are back in their safe heaven. Amar behl, Rk’s producer gets into a tiff with him due to his ill comment on Madhu at a frustrated Moment because of which Rk slaps him. He lashes out at amar and refuses to complete his movie and a furious Amar gets the producer association to ban Rk. Rk decides to produce a movie on his own and Bittuji supports his decision. Madhu is happy as they start looking for a crew, director and heroine. An old director mehul chopra decides to do the film and decides the members of his crew. Rk and Mehul aren’t satisfied with the participants in the audition for the heroine. Mehul finds Madhu apt for the character but Madhu refuses the offer and doesn’t inform Rk about it. Rk’s pabho , Radhaji’s elder sister makes an entry making Rk and Madhu ecstatic. But she’s shown to be the typical traditional saas unlike Radhaji. Mehul himself Asks Rk on casting Madhu which initially irks him and makes him lash out at Mehul but later he himself wishes to launch Madhu which she denies. They finalize on another heroine, simi Khanna but due to the troubles created by Dipali, who couldn’t get the role for herself, Simi is unable to attend the movie launch function making Rk depressed. Mehul convinces Madhu to step in the role and she finally agrees for the sake of Rk and she’s launched as the heroine. Pabho develops resentment towards Madhu as a pandit predicts that she’s a bad omen for Rk. She along with Dipali tries to create rifts between Rk and Madhu but fails. Pabho tells Rk not to cast Madhu in his film but Rk supports Madhu over Pabho’s claims and stands up for her. He also declares that he wouldn’t leave Madhu for anyone, and never on words of a mere pandit. Pabhu makes Madhu perform variety of nivarans to make her feel unworthy of Rk but she overcomes them successfully. Many troubles occur during shooting, like Amar’s men causing fire in the set, Madhu getting physically hurt due to Pabho’s unnecessary nivarans unknown to Rk etc. Yet both of them overcomes everything and continues to thrive in each other’s support. After failing at many attempts, Pabho gets successful in bringing an issue between Rk and madhu for a short time. After sometime Madhu realizes that pabho is making her do fake rituals in the name of nivarans to make her lose faith her marriage and confronts her. In the sets, kuku’s man replaces the duplicate knife with original one. Madhu gets restless during shoot and doesn’t want to shoot the scene in which anamika stabs karan, the characters played by Madhu and Rk. But Mehul and Rk coerces her to go ahead and she ends up stabbing Rk during the shoot, in the same place on his shoulder where he had got shot the previous year, paralyzing him. Madhu goes to the siddhivinayak barefoot again to pray for Rk. Pabho files a case against Madhu for stabbing Rk and gets her arrested. Rk gains conscious and learns of his paralysis and that Madhu is jailed. Shocked and enraged, he reaches the police station with Mehul’s help and demands Madhu be released. When Pabho tries to send Madhu out of the house, Rk asks Sikky to confess the truth and Sikky reveals to both family and police, how Amar and Kuku’s men replaced the duplicate knife with original and police arrests them. Madhu is heartbroken to know of Rk’s paralysis and promises him they’d get through this together and that he’d be alright soon. Their love keeps growing and rising over all difficulties as Madhu takes care of even every small needs of Rk and helps with his physiotherapy. Dipali and pabho try to use Rk’s paralysis as a reason to show Madhu as a bad omen and separate Rk Madhu But Rk tells them that , even if god asks him to, he wouldn’t leave Madhu. Pabho tries to emotionally blackmail madhu saying its because of her bad luck that Rk is this situation and hence she should leave him alone but Madhu fights back saying she’s not a fool to leave her husband letting him suffer alone and she’ll help him overcome his paralysis by being at his side. Rk is unable to shoot many scenes and mehul changes the story making it female centric. As Madhu gets more involved with the movie, Dipali manipulates Rk’s mind saying Madhu will get wooed by the glam world and slowly she’d forget him making Rk worried of losing her to film industry. Madhu gets Pregnant making Rishbala ecstatic. Mehul is frustrated feeling this will disrupt his film and its publicity and talks to Rk about it and gets him to feel that it would cost him his film’s success, having a pregnant heroine, making him ask Madhu to abort the child. Madhu refutes and demands that she keep the child. When Madhu has to shoot a scene in which she gets caught in the fire, pabho jams the door of the building set trapping Madhu inside. Shoot completes successfully and everyone is busy rejoicing and doesn’t notice Madhu’s absence. She gets tired and scared seeing the door not opening and at the same time the fire keeps spreading across her. Rk feels uneasy being unable to locate Madhu. He goes to the buildining set and sees the door jammed with a barrel. He calls out to Madhu and she’s revealed to hear his voice even in weak state. She asks him to open the door but Rk finds it hard to move the barrel with one hand yet somehow manages to do so with lots of difficulty. Rk opens the door to see a dizzy Madhu falling to the ground. She sees him trying to get to her and calls out to him forwarding her hand. Rk’s legs gives away hitting something on the floor and is unable to get up. He helplessly looks at her seeing her reflecting his pain and she gets unconscious. Seeing the fire was getting to her, he uses all his might, overcoming his paralysis lifts her up and takes them out of the building. Rk and Madhu are happy that he’s back to normal and Rk is glad that it’s because of Madhu that he regained his health. Rk says they’ll have their child making Madhu happy. Due to the stress she was subjected to, she suffers a miscarriage leaving Rishbala heartbroken. Rk feels Madhu got influenced by another movie offer which led to the miscarriage and due to his frustration blames it on Madhu making her devasted. She leaves the mansion but Rk brings her back yet they stayed distant. Madhu decides to talk it out but Rk asks for some space to forget everything. Rk befriends a girl ria when he saves her from police. He sympathizes with her as he feels she has no one to call her own. They bond over drinks at the Bar and she drops him back home and tells Madhu that he was talking about her all the Time. When Rk goes to return ria’s diary at night, he finds her drunk and creating nuisance for the public. He gets her in his car and while talking to her, remembers Madhu. He calls Madhu waking her up from sleep and informs her that he’s out helping a friend. Before she could ask anything, he was about to cut the call but pauses a second to tell her “I love you “making her surprised yet confused. He drops off ria in his farmhouse as she’s not in her senses. The next day he takes Madhu out on a date asking her to dress up in Yellow for him. They were having a good time in the restaurant when ria intervenes unexpectedly and informs Madhu that Rk came to help her the other night and dropped her in his farmhouse. Madhu gets upset and leaves but Rk rushes off behind her, pacifies her and arranges for a small private birthday party at home as it was her birthday. Her neighbors from chawl comes to wish her and spoils the cake that had Rishbala pic in it. Frustrated, Rk leaves the mansion. Madhu goes in search of him and finds him at Bar with ria and brings him back. One day, having enough of everything, Madhu puts up an act of getting drunk , making him promise her that he’d stop drinking and behave from then on. Rk tries to make Madhu Happy and starts ignoring ria, which angers her. He tells her that, Madhu is more important to him and he has decided to stop all drinking and going for drives with ria. Stating he wants to spend more time with Madhu, he leaves. An Infuriated ria pledges to separate Rishbala and make Rk hers. She Challenges Madhu on the same. Making up a suicide drama, she gets in the Rk mansion, indirectly putting the blame on Madhu and tries to create rift between Rk Madhu. She poisons her own tea and tries to frame that Madhu’s behind it all the while acting Innocent. Rk lets her wear Madhu’s dress till her dresses arrive and tells her not to wear any of Madhu’s yellow dresses. The family goes to temple but Rk and ria stay back at the mansion. Rk sends all his servants on leave, to peacefully read the script of his next project. Taking this as chance ria dresses up in Madhu’s saree and tries to seduce Rk, which angers him. He states that he went wrong in trusting and befriending her. He tells her that he only loves Madhu and orders ria to get out of the Mansion. In her fury, she rips of the sleeves of her blouse, ruins her makeup and puts an act in front of the whole family accusing Rk of forcing himself on her. Madhu doesn’t believe her and slaps ria, throwing her out of the mansion. Ria files a fake case Against Rk. Madhu and bittuji get the cctv footage which ria tries to steal, bribing a servant but Madhu replaces it with a fake one. Pabho and dipali tries to manipulate Radhaji against Madhu saying its her fault but failsRadhaji supports Madhu. Madhu gets the original footage presented before the police proving Rk’s innocence and gets ria jailed. Rishbala sort out their differences and gets back to their happy life. Then comes Krk, keval ram khuswa, the lookalike of Rk, sent by Kuku and bhujang, sultan’s rival, to eliminate Rk and get their hands on his properties. Krk stirs trouble for Rk and Madhu Frequently as no one could recognize he’s not Rk. Rk holds a press conference and insults Krk’s parents questioning their upbringing, to bring him out of hiding. An offended Krk calls Rk and demands that they meet. Rk offers him money so that he leaves their lives forever and Krk accepts , but he had other plans in mind. They both mutually decide a place to meet. Madhu tries to stop Rk from going alone but Rk sneaks out with money and goes to meet Krk. Kuku, bhujang and krk plan tomake Rk unconscious so that Krk can take his place. Rk and Krk have a sparring and Krk tries to inject something on Rk without him knowing but fails When Madhu arrives with police on time. Police arrests Krk and Rishbala share a
cute Nok jhok for Rk leaving alone and not taking her with him. Madhu and bittuji plan a theme party for Rk’s birthday and Madhu happily decks up Rk according to her wish. Rk though hesitant, complies for his biwi. Krk who gets bailed out of prison, makes a plan with kuku and bhujang and kidnap Rk from the birthday party with a fake magic act, and takes Rk’s place at the mansion. Krk pretends to be Rk infront of Rk’s family while real Rk is sent to prison. Madhu begins to doubt the person in the mansion, realizing which Krk does a drama of taking her to prison where he mocks the real Rk pretending to be the superstar himself. Rk tries to make madhu realize he’s her husband but Krk convinces her otherwise, by imitating Rk’s behavior and also having the same tattoo of “madhu” in his arm, like Rk. Yet Madhu feels something wrong, even though she doesn’t show it. Krk’s talks and behavior strengthens her oubts. Rk writes a letter to Madhu ends up in Krk’s hands. He tears and throws it away so that Madhu doesn’t read it. As fate would have it, Madhu gets a torn piece of RK’s letter and instantly recognizes his handwriting. She finds out about what happened in Rk’s birthday party and confronts Krk and threatens to shoot him. Krk, who feels guilty of his doings, reveals bhujang’s and Kuku’s plans to eradicate Rk. He promises to help her rescue Rk. They save Rk from the deserted place Bhujang and Kuku had got him to leaving Krk there instead of Rk. RK and Madhu gets Kuku, bhujang and his men arrested and gives Krk money to retrieve his land in his village. He asks them forgiveness and wishing them for a good life, leaves. Rk and Madhu happily return home and is faced by their family who is shocked of all happenings. Radhaji ends all relation with kuku once and for all, for all the pain he caused to her family. Rk promises Madhu that they’d name their first daughter Madhubala. Pabho tries to ruin Rk’s and Madhu’s sweet moment again by demanding that Madhu prove her purity performing agnipariksha. Rk and Madhu furiously retort to it. Madhu declares she’s pure and that she wouldn’t do as Pabho says even if her husband demands it. Rk says they’re not any Ram Sita and that he trusts his wife above all, refuting pabho. A frustrated dipali, tries to play smart, telling Madhu she agreed to do all the nivarans then why not the agnipariksha. Rk who was unaware of all the fake nivarans pabho made Madhu do, forces dipali to reveal them and she realizes her blunder. Scared, dipali blurts out how pabho made Madhu do fatal tasks which hurt her physically and was also about to reveal pabho’s two murder attempts on Madhu when Rk furiously lashes out at pabho. Pabho confesses that she wants to get rid of Madhu from Rk’s life as she’s not a good presence in his life and is a bad omen. Rk tells her to leave the mansion and never return, shocking everyone. Even Madhu couldn’t make him change his decision which led to pabho’s exit. Rk and Madhu resume their happy moments, revealing all their secrets to each other. Rishbala get Bittuji Married to Leelawati, whom he had got married to as a child. Rk rejects the offer of producer Harshavardhan Kapoor which angers him and his manager cum son in law Nikhil lamba and they wow to take revenge. Madhu gets pregnant and Rishbala are ecstatic about it. Rk takes 10 months break to look after Madhu. Nikhil lamba tries to mock Rk in a press conference but Rk spoils it by intervening and taunts him that he and harshavardhan can be glad that Rk isn’t releasing any movies for next 10 months as he’s taking a break for his wife, which is good for harshavardhan’s Son’s launch film. Rk looks after all necessities of Madhu in her pregnancy phase and they share happy love filled months. Rk takes Madhu to his studio and plays a video of their moments together, as they both get emotional. Suddenly pain shoots up for madhu and Rk arranges the doctor and all necessary medical facilities in the studio, the place that witnessed their whole story. Rishbala are happy and excited to spend time with their daughter whom they name Madhubala. During the naming ceremony, everyone gets killed in a bomb blast, except Radhaji, baby madhu , bittuji and family.

Madhu Vows to Rk during their dance in the ceremony. And there ends the story of the 1st of seven lives they promised each other.
It is later shown that harshavardhan Kapoor gets killed by the mob as the blast is blamed on him. But the blast was planned by his second wife and Nikhil lamba.
The show takes a 20 years leap following the journey of junior madhubala who is a look-alike of her mother Madhubala.. Rk's mother Radha & Madhu were residing at madhura .. Radha kept her away from her real identity of being Superstar Rk & madhubala's daughter.. Rk's PA bittu find out about Radha & Jr Madhu being alive. Madhu had to go to Mumbai for job purpose & there she met Superstar Abhay kapoor's of whom she is a fan of & who is none another than harshavardhan's son.. He hates Rk & his family as his father was accused for murdering them & died because of that reason.. Madhu starts to work as his P. A & falls in love with him ...
He too reciprocates her feelings but starts to hate her when he came to know that she is Rk's & Madhu's daughter.. He proposes to her for marriage but on the wedding day she is tricked by him & ends up marrying a mentally challenged guy Raj kumar aka Raju who is a look-alike of Rk.. Initially she had hard time managing his child like nature but started to like him for his innocence & accepts him as her husband much to Abhay's annoyance as he doesn't like to see them happy together so he planned to destroy their happy life by killing Raju.. He hits Raju with a truck & get him injured fatally .. Next day was karwachauth & Madhu fasts for Raju & prays to God to give her husband back.. While performing karwachauth Raju shows up there being perfectly fine mentally as well as physically.. It is revealed that his real name is Raja kushwaha.. He punishes abhay for his deeds & kills him shocking Madhu with his behavior & she starts hating him .. He then took Madhu to his village & always declare his love for her but she was always evasive to him.. On Madhu's request he with his family returns to Mumbai to stay there ... Radha comes to know about Madhu being married & was angry & sad bcoz of this until she meets Raja.. This makes her believe that her son & daughter in law returned to her in another form.. Certain events takes place in their lives which made them hate each other & hurt each other but eventually they started to come closer to each other & Raja vows to Madhu that he will change for good .. They gets married again & Madhu too started to love him.. They started to lead their new life in a chawl where he started to work as a mechanic with bittu's help.. While working in his garage a producer meets Raja & Madhu & says them they resembles old superstar Rk & his wife madhubala & offers them a movie .. Madhu also came to know that her mother's last wish was to make a movie on her life story.. Raja & Madhu accepts the offer & the show ends by Rajbala doing the movie based on Rishbala's love story ..

Madhubala Rishabh Kundra : a common happy go lucky girl with no big ambitions who unexpectedly gets into a tiff with superstar Rk. She marries him for her father's treatment but eventually falls in love with him. Later becomes a Heroine yet gives it up with no interest to pursue it and also for her family life. Loves Rk unconditionally.
Rishabh Kundra : The arrogant egoistic Superstar of the nation who is affected by no one and never lets anyone gets in his way. He gets into a fight with madhu for filing a hit and run case against him. He marries her in return of forty lakhs for her father's treatment to avenge his insult but ends up falling in love with her. His deep passionate and at times obsessive love is the highlight of their story.
Battukchand sharma aka Bittuji: Rk's trusted manager / p.a and advisor. loves RK and madhu like a brother. He is the main cupid in Rishbala's life. He is the biggest support of RK and Madhu.
Radha kundra/ Bhatia: Rk's estranged mother. Though she lives with him, Rk is insensitive towards her as she got remarried to a greedy kuku bhatia whom Rk dislikes. She loves Rk and Madhu equally and always wants them together. Madhu later reunites the mother son duo.
Kuku aka Khulbhushan Bhatia: a greedy evil oppurtunist whom Radha got remarried to. Lives off Rk's money yet plots to kill him and take over all of Rk's property. Rk never considered him as family.
Sikkandar Bhatia aka sikky: kuku's son and step brother of Rk. funny but dumb. He used to follow his father's plans to trouble Rk but redeemed himself when Rk got paralysed because of him. He had a strained relation with his wife who did not return his feelings for her.
Dipali Sikkandar Bhatia aka dips: Sikky's Wife and ex- gf of Rk. A flop actress who left Rk and married sikky for fame but later regretted it when Rk became superstar. Always tried to rekindle her relation with Rk but he was disgusted by her. Never loved her husband and hated madhu. She was a vamp yet also a catalyst in Rishbala 's love story.
Padmini Chowdary / Padmini Mallik: Madhu's Mother who runs away from her evil husband and mother-in-law to save her daughters' life. She's a very loving, brave yet protective mother to both madhu and trishna, lovingly addressed as 'Mother India' by Roma. Later gets married to shamsher mallik. She would go to any lengths to keep her daughters safe.
Shamsher Mallik: a stuntman in movie sets who lives in chawl. Saves Padmini and her daughters from balraj and becomes their protector. Father to Madhu and Trishna by bond and loving partner of Padmini. Had a tiff with Rk and even shot him but later sorted out their differences.
Trishna Mallik: Madhu's elder sister who Loves her a lot, develops differences with her when madhu marries RK but later reconciles with her. She was a huge fan of RK and Always aspired to become a famous heroine. Roma was her pillar of strength.
Roma Mallik: bold,outspoken and witty aunt of Madhu and Trishna. Sister of Shamsher Mallik who took in padmini and her daughters as her own family. She's a junior artist in sets but wishes for Trishna to become a Heroine. The very mentor of Trishna. Loves madhu and trishna like her own daughters.
Ria jaiswal: a junior artist who later befriends Rk. Falls in love with Rk and tries to seperate Rk and Madhu. Files rape case on him when he throws her out but gets jailed herself when madhu proves her guilty and Rk innocent.
Mukkund dixit: ex-fiance of madhu who believes rumours of Rk madhu relation and breaks ties with her.
Mrs Dixit: Mukkund's evil mother who hates mother. very much greedy for money and always tries to insult madhu in every oppurtunity. takes bribe from Rk to end madhu's engagement.
Sultan: a merciless don who wouldn't hesitate to use his son as bait to catch enemies. half-brother of Rk. He is son of mohan kundra and meera. Tries to seperate Rk and Madhu, gets killed by Rk when he tries to shoot her.
Aryan: innocent son of sultan. Aryan likes madhu as a friend but isn't aware of sultan and Rk's relation.
KRK aka Kewal Ram Khuswa: look alike of Rk who is used by bhujang and kuku to extract Rk's money. They plan to kill Rk with his help. Even though initially he helps them trouble Rishbala, he later apologizes to Madhu and helps her to save RK.
Inspector Joshi: a righteous cop who has been hunting for sultan for a long time. He Is very loyal and Trusts Rk to be innocent. He helps Rishbala to get rid of Sultan.
Balraj chowdary: a lunatic evil businessesman from the village of motihari. Padmini's ex- husband and biological father od Trishna and Madhu. Ties up with Rk to produce a film with Trishna as lead. Tried to kill madhu even before her birth as he thinks she's a bad omen. Gets killed by padmini when he tries to kill them again.
Pabho aka Sharda : Radha's sister and aunt to Rk. Rk loved her like a mother.she loved Rk but considered madhu, a bad omen for him and hence tried to seperate them. Rk sent her out of their house when he found out her tortures on madhu.
Bhujang: sultan's rival don who befriends kuku to get Rk's properties and money.
Amar Behl: film producer who gets into tiff with Rk and tries to jeopardize his movie, then tries to kill him with kuku's help.
Mehul Chopra: director whom Rk hires to direct his first production film. He introduces Madhu as the Heroine of RK's film.
Madhubala Raja Khuswa: Daughter of Rk and Madhu, she was raised by Radha.
a Righteous girl who loves bollywood. She gets the job of Abhay kapoor's secretary. He tricks her into marriage where he makes her get married to A mentally challenged Raju to take Revenge on Rks daughter. After a lot of incidents she gets her happily ever after with Raja/Raju and they both become movie stars.
Raju/Raja khuswa: initially an innocent mentally challenged (doesn't remember his past) who gets married to jr madhu, later gets his memories back & become normal to reveal himself as Raja, son of krk. He tricks abhay into killing himself, for torturing his wife. Raised amidst a wayward village clan, blood for blood is his law but loves madhu more than anything and declares his love all the time
Harshavardhan Kapoor: a wealthy producer who gets into tiff with Rk when Rk refuses to attend his son's debut. He is later blamed for RM's murder and killed in mob attack.
Abhay Kapoor: son of Harshavardhan who becomes a famous actor. He blames Rishbala for his father's death. Tries to take revenge on junior madhu by marrying her to Raju/raja and tortures them both. Later Raja tricks abhay into killing himself.
Pam Harshavardhan kapoor: evil second wife of harshavardhan who ties up with manager Nikhil to plan the bomb blast. Abhay's step mother and hates him.
Ananya lamba: step sister of abhay and daughter of pam and harshavardhan. Wife of Nikhil lamba, Has a strained relation with Ak as she holds him responsible for their father's death.
Bebe aka Harjeet: mother of harshavardhan and loving grandmother of abhay, ananya and ayesha.
Nikhil Lamba: greedy manager and brother in law of Abhay kapoor. Doesn't have a healthy relation with him. Helped pam in executing the bomb blast unknown to everyone.
Umesh kapoor aka Tittu: loving uncle of abhay and husband of Dolly.
Dolly kapoor : loving aunt of abhay and wife of tittu.
Ayesha kapoor: abhay's caring little sister.
Leelawati sharma: wife of bittuji. Unlike him, A greedy and ungrateful woman who doesn't think twice before ruining jr madhu's life for money. Used to torture madhu and raju/raja. Later on Raja puts her in her deserved place.
Sunny Sharma: son of Bittuji. Brother figure to madhu. Unlike his mother, he's a kind and genuine guy who loves madhu like his own sister. Always stands by her side when she needs him.
Sweety Sharma: Bittuji's daughter. Greedy and dumb girl taken after her mother. Helps her mother in plans against madhu. Has a contract marriage with abhay for money yet disappointment is her only outcome.
Dauji aka Jugnu khuswa: a powerful intimidating villager and patriarch of Khuswa family. Uncle of Raja, though not much friendly with others and lives in his own chauvinistic principles, he loves Raja a lot and treats him just like his own son.
Baaiji : wife of Jugnu and matriarch of khuswa family. Regressive and lives by her husband's rules. Loves Raja but prefers her daughters more than him.
Tara Bhanu Pratap Singh: eldest daughter of Dauji and baaiji. Mostly caring yet dumb person. Loves Raja but is manipulated frequently by her sister and husband.
Bhanu Pratap Singh: Tara's husband. He's very much greedy and Envious of Raja. Unknown to all He was behind attack which killed Raja's brother & turned him mentally challenged. Wants to get rid of raja and take over dauji's properties. becomes reason of baaiji's death & blames it on madhu. Later gets arrested after he tries to attack Raja and Madhu.
Agni Ashok: Agni is the youngest daughter of dauji. She shares a strained relation with Raja as she envies him and also troubles Madhu. She hates that Raja is Dauji's heir and thus helps Bhanu in his plans against Raja and Madhu to get the properties.
Ashok: Agni's husband who's a local college professor. He has no interest in the khuswa family politics or money. He is a quiet educated man who loves agni a lot.
Faguni Bhabi: widow of Dauji's son who died in a shootout along with Raja's parents years ago. She is considered a jinx by the khuswa clan except Raja and Madhu. She loves them both dearly.
