Thanks for the reply! You know what it’s good he didn’t end up with Urmila in that movie although it’s sad. She didn’t understand him.

Yep he was the 90s kind of modern thinking guy

She was acting like 1950s heroine

 Sunnys better for her

Priety and Rani suit Bobby deol better as heroines

Urmila looked elder to him not sure why, they looked odd

There were some great moments the movie. There was a lot unneeded stuff though. Agree, Sunny could have done better overall.

The story line isn’t my fav either. Urmila’s character was too much into getting married lol. I would have bought as much as time I could before marrying.

I loved Bobby despite the movie. I think he did great in his role!

The last scene lol was truly OTT! It could have been just Sunny meeting an accident and Bobby attending him and apologizing.

True him being declared dead than coming back to life etc too much OTT

It must be a simple thing that hes gone into coma, after few days of tending he wakes up and Bobby apologies to him for his behaviour

Come on which siblings do not fight and get angry and even have fist fights etc its common thing

Except that here bobby did it in center of road which led to the accident mess

The film should've been a big HIT but the climax ruined it. Was way too long & stretched out. While Bobby was fine until the climax, he just didnt have it in him to carry the whole climax. The extended climax required a seasoned actor. Imagine if it was Sunny Deol with the emotional outburst instead of Bobby. Nobody wanted to see Sunny lying on a hospital bed for half an hour in those days. Also the fact that Sunny had just done the same film a few months ago(Pyar Koi Khel Nahin) ruined Dillagi's box office chances despite being quite a well made film(sans the climax).

PS: Like most 90s girl, had a huge crush on Bobby as well even if most will not admit it today. 🤣

Yeah, big opportunity wasted in this movie. Everything was in place for it except editing and fine polishing the story. Ugh the climax.

I agree people may not want to admit they were Bobby fans now but dude he had it all. No doubt about it.

You know what, I personally had not watched any movies of his until now. Quarantine has made me revisit my crush haha. I had a crush based on those clips of dancing dude with curls I saw now and then on TV in my childhood.

I thought Bobby’s character could have handled her with a little bit of sensitivity though when he trashes her idea of marriage. Because he knew she was A sensitive girl (given the club incident) and had issues with parents and all.
But still, she was very immature to read that he loved her while he was the same with every girl around there.

I still cannot understand he did not want to marry her love her

Suddenly how he fell in love some good solid reason should have been given

Chal mere bhai with salman, sanjay dutt had same story

there it was better executed story i saw that too recently same story line etc

He himself was immature

His brother had treated him like a baby and protected him all life

So hes also immature to handle an immature Urmila

Usually girls are more mature in college than boys

Here bobby acted much mature in college than urmila but a brat and casanova kind of guy

Urmila acted like  a 10 year old scared of parents etc which i did not find ok

She was fan boying bobbys character in college

I am planning to watch many 90s and early 2000s movies in lockdown

I watched jodha akbar and aishwaray looks like a queen and hrithik an emperor

Wish these two had done padmavaat and bajiroa kind of movies together

They look very royal and elegant as queen and king
